Firstly, this company has no business advertising on Expedia, what is stated in the property details is not accurate and doesn’t align with what they request after booking. If you are elderly or don’t like dealing with chatbots or strictly remote customer service reps, then don’t consider this place. Don’t consider it either way but especially in that case. Second, this is the type of property that is contributing to the housing crisis. The company is probably run by some investor bros that are mediocre at best when it comes to investing, hospitality and property management. What you are booking is an apartment within another apartment, so they’ve taken over a floor or maybe just a section of a floor in a condo building. The building & apartment was shabby. The apartment while mostly clean was shabby, much like the service. The extra linens are stored in a giant, damp, tangled ball in the dryer (you know instead of paying someone to fold and put them away)- an absurd hospitality choice but totally on brand with the rest of the experience. Most light switches aren’t connected to lights and decor looks like they just ran to the dollar store to fill up the space. No check out instructions are provided in advance, but to put the key in the lockbox. After unnecessary back and forth with a virtual agent, you’ll find that the lockbox is located in the garage, chained to a wall and of course is not labeled as your suite number. Lots of issues not enough characters to elaborate!

Everything is great about the apartment. The only issue is the television that loses its internet connection and there is no way to fix it. It’s the TV and not the WiFi - other devices like phones and computers connect fine to the WiFi.

Poor directions and lack of communication and sofa

A photo was sent on where to pick up the key from a lock box. The description was very very poor. I was complelty jet lagged and took forever to find the key on the bottom floor of the building. I had the cab driver drive us down..kept looking for it and finally we found it. The person at the front desk told us to go around and through the garage. That was an error on the part of the person in the lobby. We couldnt find then, the elevator to go back up from thebottom floor and I kept calling global stay at around midnight and they wouldn't answer the phone. The explanation needed to be a lot clearer . We were four in the apartment and the sofa bed was absolutley horrendous. Hard to sleep on..like a board. It was also filthy. It was a sofa that opened into a "bed", but ut was broken. They said they would fix it..but I didn't want anyone coming in our apartment while we were gone. What compounded it all, as that we were majorly jet lagged and also, that GHlobal stay was hard to get a hold of when I needed them most. I was in touch with them as to the time I would get in, but i feel that they chose not to answer the phone at 12:00am. It was apin to stay there because of that. and the sofa bed..forget about it..even if it had been cleaned it was like a board.

The apartment was very good, and I would stay there again. The challenge with this type of accommodation is the need to send extra images, the deposit, and the figuring out the parking. It is easy once you know, but challenging until then.

Should probably put something in the check in instructions on how to get up from P2 - calling security, or finding stairs - when you get locked in the parkade. Condo could have been cleaner, but it was comfortable and had necessities.

This property should be de-listed for accommodation until repairs are made to fix a leak in the ceiling that contributes to a disgusting odor that greets the guests upon entry to the apartment. It can only be described as a foul combination of fish and mould. We contacted the property about the active leak in the ceiling (right above the bed in the master bedroom and nothing was done. There are several stains on the ceiling in the master bedroom from this leak which has clearly been ongoing for quite some time as the damage is fairly extensive, including bubbling of the drywall just inside the bedroom door. The property managers were incredibly unhelpful and have now tried to charge us for a broken glass that was left in the cupboard by either their cleaning staff or the previous visitors. The least of our issue was the fact that this property was listed as a "park view" when it in fact faces an apartment across the street with no park in sight. I want my money back from this property as no one should be staying in an apartment with such obvious maintenance issues.
