had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Toronto Airport West. The staff were friendly, professional, and very accommodating. My room was spotless, quiet, and comfortable — just what I needed. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and well-stocked with a good variety of options. Shuttle service to the airport was prompt and convenient. Overall, a reliable and pleasant experience. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling through Toronto.

The staff was not pleasant. The guy at the counter hung up in our ear when we said we were getting a refund through Expedia due to highway closure. He was not pleasant at the counter either. Overall nice stay thought. Very clean

The room was ok. Needs to be maintained. The entire hotel needs to be maintained. Furniture is old and the property shows it’s age. The worst part was the pot smell in the hallways and lobby at nearly all times and the noise from the highway. Our room faced the 401 it was so loud. Had to sleep with ear plugs. Breakfast was great and lots of parking.

Room facing away from the highway is quieter

Airport shuttle comes every 25min, have to call the hotel to request it. This time we requested a room facing away from the highway. It was quieter, unless one of the neighbouring rooms switches on their air conditioner, then it was loud in our room as well. The opening around the air conditioner are not sealed against sound coming in.

Loud highway noise in room

Airport shuttle comes every 25min, have to call the hotel to request. Our room faced the 16lane highway , the window has a conditioner in it, the road noise comes into the room around the air conditioner. Sleeping was difficult.

Liked the area of the hotel. Staff was okay - lady in kitchen area does not greet anyone from India. She smiled and greeted to rest everyone and I observed it for over 10 mins so that was little awkward. Another thing - despite of informing previous day & reception marking it down in computer that late check out = at noon - & putting do not disturb sign at door - the housekeeping staff is not informed and they knock door at 11 AM. Overall very clean place, quiet and good ambiance. Would definitely stay there again but I might need to stick a handwritten note to not knock door till I check out. Breakfast has good options. So over all good day but could have been great. So the only improvement needed is communication with and between the staff.
