I was supposed to get a parking credit but do not. Both Hotels.com and the hotel went back and forth blaming each other for this error. And I ended up not getting a resolution despite spending 45 minutes of my time off on this issue.
The hotel easily could have offered me the credit or some other compensation, given that I am an IHG member and they’re part of a company with a 22.6 billion dollar networth. I literally only chose this hotel because of the parking credit. I would have stayed elsewhere or taken the GO train if this was going to be the case.
The hotel gym was not operational and while they give you a gym credit, there was a snowstorm while we were there and we were not going to walk through it to go utilize the gym. Both my partner and I are avid gym goers and we were looking forward to this amenity.
As well, there were broken pieces all over the room. The shampoo and conditioner holder fell while I was showering, and the bottles fell on my feet.
We were also staying in a king suite and we’re supposed to have bath robes in the room, when I discovered that we did when we went to utilize the pool, I attempted to call down multiple times and did not receive any response from the front desk. We never got our robes. I told them this when I checked out and while I did get an apology, I also got the excuse that they were very busy. Once again, they did nothing to make up for this inconvenience.
Our room also had multiple long black hairs on most of the linens.
