Older properties have lots of charm, and some quirks, too. The charms of this place are many - location by the creek, huge deck with lots of seating, comfy beds, nice decor and full fridge and stove, to name a few. But the quirks are 21 stairs up to the second level (where we stayed), at times hearing people in the next room, a shower that wasn't always hot, and temperature control for the whole floor controlled by the host. We didn’t mind the quirks and enjoyed the charm immensely. We'd definitely recommend staying here in quiet Townsend if you're coming to the Great Smoky Mountains.
