This property was a dump! My husband and I have been traveling from Florida and have stayed at La Quinta along the way for less money than what we paid for this place. They've been like a 5 star resort, except for this one! Whoever has been giving reviews, have never stayed at a nice hotel; and not to mention the area is very sleazy. We didn't go because we were tired of driving 520 miles. The bathroom was disgusting and the tub look like it hadn't been cleaned in years!! We even checked the bed for bedbugs, and thank God the mattress was ok. That place needs to be taken out completely. Expedia shouldn't even advertise it.
You can't see the ring of dirt or the bottom of the tub, it black. Awful lighting!

Hotel room and swimming pool were great. Area has nice places to get meals. However, hotel needs to strongly improve their security. If not there already, they should have cameras covering property and someone always checking on safety of guests. There was incident when unknown male bother guests outside the room. Continuously to bother until guests outside room. When that person left or briefly disappeared. Guests (including kids) immediately checked out of room for fear of their safety. Staff failed to ask specifics on what was going when guest checked out and stated there was an incident. When reported incident to staff shortly afterwards, not very helpful nor shown any real concern. It is doubtful on returning back to this hotel. They need to improve their security and offer written guidance if such an incident were to happen for safety purposes.

The young lady at the front desk was excellent, friendly and informative. We like La Quinta's and have stayed at many over the years. It appears that some of them like Tucson East are being allowed to slowly wither away. While the room was clean and tidy, the bathtub should have been replaced years ago, and the shower is a 2 out of 10 at best.

Bed very comfortable. Really fairly quiet considering we were close to the pool. Stayed 5 nights and it was ok. Although one evening someone was smoking pot and the smell was wafting all around the inside of the courtyard. Breakfast options really limited. Not even any yogurt. Instant oatmeal available but did not see a microwave to prepare it. Could have been hiding someplace.

Very Good: Staff friendliness, open for late check-in, pretty good breakfast, mostly clean, nice clean pool area, excellent linens and service. Could use some work: door mats, updating bathtub and bathroom floor, gate to enter the pool, sliding door to pool area, choices for TV channels. Overall a good experience, but a little updating would really make it a stand-out experience.

Location of the motel was perfect for us. Very central to everything we were doing this weekend. Bed was comfortable. Bed was not made in the morning because we had “personal items” on the bed. It was just a pillow and a T-shirt so I felt like they definitely could have still made the bed. Carpets were dirty when we got there, and were still not vacuumed the second day. Ice machine was broken. Pool was cold but clean, hot tub was nice. Check in/out was easy. Overall a fine stay

The Rooms smelled like smoke. The Restrooms were dirty and expreamly run down black calking and peeling paint. My Wifes Earing were stolen and We had Homless Tweekers in the parking lot Somthing from a bad movie I have to say the Breakfast good and staff Friendly They simply spend no money on Building upkeep
