Could use some updates.

The staff are very polite and willing to direct for places to eat eta. When we got into the room it was very dark, gloomy. There was peices of looked like playground wood chips as soon as you lifted the blankets between the sheets. There was hair on the towels folded on the wall near the sink. It was conveniently located not far off the expressway.

The staff was very friendly and especially helpful when there was a problem with our reservation. We did enjoy the Saturday night music at the adjoining restaurant. The cabins looked very cute, but we stayed in the lodge motel.

Musty odor to room when we checked in 5:00 pm. Storm went through starting at 11:30 pm. At 12:30 a.m. water started streaming down the INSIDE of door, and gurgled into room from underneath the locked door. Nobody avail at front desk (after hours?) to address this with. Built dam with bath towels to prevent water from flowing into room. Notified clerk at checkout of water intrusion, and her only response was, "I'll notify maintenance." No expression of remorse, or apology. Believe this has happened previously due to warping of plaster next to door, and overall musty odor. Bath/shower dirty with hair found in bathtub. Lost power at 1:00 am (obviously not their fault), and was restored at 8:00 am. This lodging was close to The Caverns, with not a lot of other overnight options. It's conveniently close proximity to concert venue was about the only positive.

Very old and unkept. The staff upon arrival were rude. The room and bathroom were dirty and contained signs regarding not dyeing hair (?!??) in the tub. The tub shower did not drain and was already dirty. It felt very unwelcoming overall and I would NOT recommend to anyone to ever stay here. No breakfast whatsoever was offered and there are very limited options in the town. The music at the “restaurant” was loud.

The restaurant on property was outstanding! The room was ultra clean. The only thing was that it was kinda noisy with people walking by in hard bottom shoes after we went to bed on the wood walk. Otherwise the stay was awesome!
