A great family friendly holiday home offering you all that you could need for a comfortable stay. The house is new and offers all the mod cons including a heat pump to keep you cool in the summer and a log fire to cosy up to in the winter, added bonus of a heat transfer system to keep all the bedrooms warm in the winter months. Open - plan living area with two sets of bi-fold doors that open out onto a lovely outdoor area that is very child friendly.

Twizel is a brilliant place to do as much or as little as you want - all year round adventurers playground. It's surrounded by great lakes, fishing spots, river walks, cycle tracks ( including the Alps to Ocean track), restaurants, bars/cafes, tennis, swimming pool and in the winter months snow skiing at fields that cater for all abilities Ohau, Roundhill.

The town centre is within walking distance and offers all the necessary amenities - including supermarkets, pharmacy, Wifi, laundrette and outdoor playground.

Everything We Needed!

Megan was a great host and her house was perfect for our group. Communication was great and it was easy to access the property. The open plan kitchen, living, dining was excellent for our needs and the kids really appreciated the internet TV! The kitchen is well set up with plenty of plates, glasses, serving dishes and cooking equipment. The covered outdoor area and BBQ were a welcome benefit in the hot Twizel evenings. The beds are comfortable and the there were plenty of extra blankets for chilly mornings. There are plenty of bins to make managing rubbish and recycling a breeze. We would recommend Megan's property and stay here again on our next trip to Twizel!

Twizel experience

Good location away from noise and crowd but a only few minutes to the shops. Listing is as advertised. Temperature setting was spot on even though it's 0 degrees outside. Only thing missing was body wash/soap.

What a fantastic few days we had thanks to a beautiful part of the country and a very comfortable and spacious house.
