Our home is perfect for those who can work remotely, whether for a short recharge or an extended month-long escape. It provides a distinctive lakeside experience away from the city`s noise and activity. Off-season rates are available for both daily and monthly stays.

Public transportation is not available, so a car is recommended. The driveway has room for four vehicles.

Our pricing is set for four guests at the home. Any additional guests beyond the initial four will incur an extra $30 per guest. We provide this `value-added service` to ensure you`re billed only for the actual number of guests, not a flat rate for the entire property. This pricing structure aims to offer savings and flexibility to our guests, accommodating changes in group size or allowing smaller groups to stay with us. If the number of guests alters after booking, please inform us, and we will adjust the rate accordingly. We are dedicated to being flexible and accommodating, understanding that plans can change.

• A signed Rental Agreement and a government photo ID are required for all reservations via a trusted third-party process to access our property. By completing this reservation, you accept this condition, and no refund will be issued outside of the refund timeline.

A great time on Lake Superior

The house was great. Clean, spacious, and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need if you're cooking. It was a great home-base for traveling around the area. We would definitely stay again!

Annual Mother/Daughter Trip

This trip celebrated my mother's 98th birthday and this Vrbo allowed her to have access to all the main floor. Her bedroom and bathroom were set off for privacy. The bed was too high for her to get into, so we used a stool from upstairs as a step. The kitchen was well stocked, even with some essential spices. Three bathrooms (although none in the upstairs) were plenty adequate and well stocked with essentials. The beds and pillows were all comfortable - not a small thing to have! We sat on the gigantic deck in the sun with a perfect view of Lake Superior and got some great shots of the sunrise. A private backyard and easy parking spaces. We all rated this one of the best places we've stayed and my mother loved it! Thank you!

Family Vacation

This was our third stay at Stony Point and our favorite. We saw many ships pass on the lake - even a cruise ship. The house was more than big enough for our family of five adults and we loved being able to sit out on the patio and down at the fire pit. We did enjoy that the owner did update and add power ports in all the living area and bedrooms.

We enjoyed the awesome weather; the yard was big enough to set up a badmitten net and play overlooking Lake Superior. Beautiful campfire spot. A great location between Two Harbors & Duluth.

Pros and Cons

Outside area, location and views are fantastic. However the house left a little to be desired. Master bedroom had no closet to hang clothes (and we were in town for a wedding and wanted to hang our good clothes up). It also had no AC unit and wasn’t lit very well at all. Both showers were extremely slippery, almost dangerously slippery. Everyone did think the beds were pretty comfortable, so that was a plus. Luckily

Sibling Reunion

My siblings and spouses needed a place to gather around Duluth. This location was just as advertised. Easy arrival and departure. The place is very well stocked with needed service ware, cooking ware and utensils. Nice big deck to gather and eat on. Lovely big yard. Fantastic proximity to the lake and nice view. The property is quiet albeit the occasional train which runs close to the house but only during the day so not significant.Everything worked well and we had the supplies we needed that were promised to be provided.A good experience!

Our stay was wonderful! The house was the perfect size for us, very clean and very well stocked with anything we may have needed. Great open view of lake from house and deck.It was a slice of heaven to be so close to the lake and enjoy the view and sounds of superior .

Beautiful location for a family getaway

This home has a beautiful view of Lake Superior. Close to Two Harbors and Duluth. And it made a day trip to Grand Marais and all the sights in between very doable. Our family, ages 50 - 80, found it comfortable with all the amenities of home.

Lovely View, watch out for the fees

The property is charming and rustic with an outstanding deck and lovely views of Lake Superior. I stayed with some friends and enjoyed the local restaurants, breweries, and galleries. I would like to note that the space is not ADA accessible and would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues due to stairs and a sloped yard. My friends and I were able to navigate just fine and enjoyed time around the fire pit. Another note, I brushed off the fees for the property, but realized afterword that they essentially doubled my expected costs. Please do not make the same mistake and carefully review the contract and payments. Personally, I will not be returning to this property, as it has dampened my post-vacation spirits, and there is a whole lot of Superior shoreline to explore.

Great Views

This is our second trip to this location and we love it for the views. There is a lot of activity with boats of all sizes, trains, and wildlife. We love sitting on the deck and watching Lake Superior and all her wonders.

The view and beach area were excellent! The home was OK but not worth the cost. Older home trying to keep up, just not a good fit for us. Could have been cleaner. Bedroom/bathroom layout is not convenient. Kitchen is small.

We had a great time. The views were wonderful, the kids enjoyed playing by the water and at night we enjoyed cooking on the fire pit. Plenty of room for all of us and was a great place for a family vacation.

Fantastic Property!

We absolutely loved our stay at Stony Point. The property is amazing, directly on Lake Superior with our own private lake front. The house was clean and lovely, with beautiful views of Lake Superior from almost every room. We appreciated lots of little touches, like fans in every room (though there is air conditioning as well), nightlights, a well stocked kitchen, lots of towels. The best feature was a fantastic HUGE deck overlooking the lake. There is also a huge yard and the home had several yard toys/games available. We used the fire pit every night. They really thought of everything. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay here again!
