When you arrive at Once Upon a Tide II you will find assigned offstreet parking for 2 vehicles. Checking in is a breeze with elevator access and keyless entry to the condo. A covered breezeway provides a warm welcome when you arrive at the front door.

When you cross the threshold of your Tybee rental, a laid-back, beach-centered vibe draws you in with reflections of warm sand and blue waters. A contemporary open floor plan of the main living area conveys a sense of expanse with a beautiful ocean view as the focal point. The living room beckons with comfortable seating facing the flat-screen TV. Gather 'round for movie night or catch the weather report before you head out for daily adventures.

Pass through the living room to open the sliding glass doors to your own private ocean view oasis. Relax with a cocktail in hand and take a seat to soak in the ocean breeze while overlooking Tybee's most popular beach.

Back inside, the dining table just beyond the living area provides a gathering spot for meals or card games alike. Eye-catching art and a unique light fixture adds sea-themed appeal.

A few steps away, the peninsula transitions to the gourmet kitchen. Perch at the breakfast bar for quick meals or set up a buffet style spread of all your family favorites. The expanse of counter space is perfect for communal meal prep. Full-sized appliances, including a refrigerator-freezer, range-oven, dishwasher and microwave make it easy to prepare epic meals. A complete supply of dishes, glasses, flatware and cooking tools are tucked away in the cupboards and drawers, awaiting your bidding.

Just off the living space, you'll find the spacious master suite. Bedside tables with reading lamps frame the king-sized bed, which is piled high with pillows and a soft quilt. Both offer ample storage for clothing and a flatscreen TV. The second full bathroom is conveniently located between the guest rooms, and features a single vanity accompanied by a tub-shower unit. A full size washer and dryer in the condo makes it easy to wash up before returning home or give your beach towels a refresh.

Tybee Island offers plenty of opportunities for relaxation, exercise and entertainment. Your vacation home at Once Upon a Tide II is ideally located for you to partake of all three.

South Beach is a short walk from your front door. It's a popular place for playing in the surf, lounging and people-watching. You can even rent chairs and umbrellas right on the beach! When it's time to take a break from the sand, stroll onto the Pier and Pavillion, a picturesque wooden structure that extends out over the Atlantic. Anglers can rent fishing supplies from the tackle shop and cast a line into the sea while spectators visit the snack bar and relax at the picnic tables. Once Upon a Tide II is also located just down the block from the hub of Tybee at Tybrisa Street. Here you will find a variety of restaurants, gift shops, bars and dessert shops. Grab a frozen to-go drink for the beach or plan a nice dinner at Pier 16 on the rooftop deck.

For a change of pace, rent beach cruiser bicycles and see more of the island. Take the bike bath on 2nd Ave all the way over to the north end of the island to explore the old Tybee Lighthouse. For those who desire adventure on the water, you can rent kayaks to explore the marshes or book an exciting dolphin excursion. There is something for everyone!

Southern Belle Pool

Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located at 19 Silver Ave, Tybee Island, GA 31328. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.

Guests with Pets

This property happily welcomes your furry travel companions! Guests may bring up to 2 dogs, with a combined weight limit of 50 lbs.​​​​​​​ Pets must be added to your reservation at the time of booking, and a non refundable $130 pet fee will apply.

Long-Term Stays

For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For these reservations, we require an additional cleaning at a cost every 30 days. The cleaning cost varies by property. Our office will be in touch to schedule.
