Absolutely stunning hotel. Wonderful family memories made! We upgraded our room and it was beautiful. The pool was great, the boat trip, aquarium, boat hire…full fun packed weekend away.

We went for the standard room, and was not disappointed. The room was clean and a good size. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant, which was very busy, but good service and good food. Advice is to book a table in the restaurant when you book your stay to make sure you get the time you want. The pool and changing facilities were top notch, very pleased with the maintenance and cleanliness of all areas. We have stayed here before this visit and will be staying again!

This hotel is just perfect. The staff as super friendly, even before you arrive, the rooms are clean, ours overlooked the outdoor seating area with a glimpse of Windermere, but you can upgrade for even better views. There were dressing gowns and slippers, fluffy white towels. The restaurant was very relaxing and breakfast offered a tremendous choice of fruit, yogurts, pastries which your ordered to your preference. We also ate in the restaurant on the evening with no complaints and enjoyed relaxing in the pool and saunas. Parking is easy too, simply obtain a pass from reception on arrival and it’s free next to the Aquarian for your duration. It is the staff that make this hotel great. Nothing felt too much trouble. Our stay was very memorable, the hotel offers luxury, comfort, elegance and superb service; will be definitely return and shall be recommending. The only negative was broken hairdryers in the ladies spa changing rooms.

Had a fantastic peaceful solo stay at this elegant hotel on the edge of Lake Windermere, staff were friendly and welcoming especially Pippa who made me feel comfortable as an older single female. The location is fantastic, and you can ditch the car and catch the boat over to Bowness, or you can chill out in the lovely pool and spa area, I hope to return.

Top notch!

The hotel was in a superb location with the ferry and steam train nearby to enable us to explore the lakes. The hotel was spotless and the staff extremely friendly. The food was top notch and service fantastic! They have got the ambience of the hotel off to a tee. Lovely subtle background music and warm inviting features and decor. The spa was the icing on the cake. Probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in.

Lakeside Luxury

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It has a wonderful setting and it is clear the hotel has undergone a nice renovation. [ I think it is still underway, but hidden away from the guests]. Though I didn't use them myself, my wife thoroughly enjoyed the spa facilities. All in all, a very nice hotel and we certainly be staying there again.
