Located on the upper level of Välkomenn Hus, this residence comes fully equipped with all the necessities, including a spacious kitchen, four bedrooms and two full bathrooms, providing ample space for groups of 8-10 guests. The cozy living room features a comfortable couch, large windows that offer stunning views of the surrounding forest and ski hill, and sliding doors that lead out to the upper deck. A short trip across the bridge takes you directly to the Whitecap Mountain Ski Resort, where you can indulge in skiing during the winter months and golfing in the summer. Välkomenn Hus Upper has everything you need for an unforgettable getaway!
The Space:
Upon your arrival at Välkomenn Hus Upper, you'll discover convenient parking situated near the upper unit with room for up to three vehicles. A brief flight of stairs will guide you to the keypad entry, allowing access to the home. Once inside, you’ll be welcomed by a spacious living room adorned with high ceilings, a generous sofa, two rocking chairs, and a cozy gas fireplace. Enjoy your favorite shows on the smart TV or indulge in a movie night with the DVD player.
Large sliding glass doors open up to the expansive back deck that includes deck furniture and a gas firepit making it perfect for sipping your morning coffee or unwinding under the stars in the evening. At the side of the home there is a grill that is shared between the upper and lower unit for guest use.
As you continue through the space, you'll arrive at the dining and kitchen area. Here, you’ll find a small table accommodating two, alongside a large kitchen island that seats four. The kitchen is fully equipped with essential appliances, including a full-sized refrigerator, a four-burner electric range, a dishwasher, a microwave, and more.
All four bedrooms come with queen beds and ample storage options, such as dressers or closets. Two bedrooms are located upstairs from the living room, while the other two are on the main floor, just past the kitchen. One main floor bedroom also features a stacked washer and dryer for your convenience during your stay.
Välkomenn Hus Upper boasts two full bathrooms, both newly renovated with stunning stone flooring and surrounds. Essential toiletries like shampoo, body wash, and conditioner are provided.
For nature lovers, the surrounding area presents abundant opportunities for hiking, skiing, golfing, and wildlife watching. Välkomenn Hus Lower truly serves as a sanctuary for relaxation and adventure, offering everything you need for an unforgettable stay.

Guests have full access to the upper unit of the home with the exception of a locked cleaning closet.
The Neighborhood:
Välkomenn Hus is located in the heart of the Whitecap Ski Village, which is just to the south of the lifts.
Getting Around:
Guests will need a vehicle to go between the lifts and the property. It is possible to walk to the lifts over the bridge located next to the home but this is not a ski in/ski out property.
Other Things to Note:
We are happy to be a dog-friendly home, but all pets, including service animals, must be disclosed at booking or brought to our attention before check in. Any unauthorized pets will result in a $350 fee. If unauthorized pets are brought to our attention during a guests stay it will result in a $350 fee as well as termination of the remainder of the stay. Please let us know before you visit if you intend on bringing a pet.
This home does not have traditional A/C, however it is equipped with a split unit and fans for air conditioning in the warmer months.
At Välkommen Hus, each reservation comes with a damage protection plan that covers any and all damage that may occur during your stay. Enjoy peace of mind on your vacation, without emptying your pockets for security deposits!
