Top Highlights: Very clean and well-maintained. Rooms are newly furnished and nicely updated. Washer and dryer available in the unit for longer stays. Needs Improvement: There’s no staff available outside of check-in hours. If you need help or want to check out, no one is around, a self-service kiosk would really help. This is not a traditional hotel, and guests cannot use amenities in the building. Parking is limited due to a busy bakery and coffee shop next door. You may need to park across the street or behind the building, which isn’t ideal, especially at night or in bad weather. Hallways are very dark and could use better lighting. Toilet paper ran out, and since no staff were available, I had to go out and buy my own. TV is very basic, you must sign in with your own streaming accounts.

Stayed here for one night. It's set up like a big efficiency apartment. It had a full-size washer, dryer, which my visiting college student daughter took advantage of to do a bunch of laundry. The cooking area is a galley-style kitchenette with a range and microwave plus a full size fridge. Parking was free and in a small lot right outside the building. ​Just a heads-up on two things: 1. ​It's pretty quiet most of the time, but there's a fire department nearby. So you will hear sirens occasionally during the night. ​2. The horizontal blinds let in a ton of light so if you're a sensitive sleeper, pack an eye mask. ​Overall, comfortable and loved having the full-sized appliances!

Very poor management. Check in time is 3PM, we arrived at around 3:15PM, we were told that the room is not cleaned yet, need to wait until 4:30PM. we stayed in the car and came back around 4:35PM, we got the key and walked to the suite, the bed is messy, it’s not cleaned yet, we went back to the office and told the manager, the office manager tried to talk with cleaner, and let us wait again, the office was closed at 5:00PM, until 5:40PM, the room was ready finally. Another poor experience is the noisy, the people above our suite walked around in his from all the night time and all the morning time, walked around and jumped, we cannot sleep until midnight.

So disappointing.

Extremely soft uncomfortable bed. Dirty dishes in dishwasher upon arrival. No dish towel or paper towels in kitchen. No wine glasses. Hair on sofa, which was also uncomfortable and sagging. The only chair was wobbly and needed repair. The clock was set to wrong time, which we didn't realize until getting up an hour earlier than necessary.

My stay at Yugo Guest Suites was mixed. The room itself was nice, but the overall experience felt unwelcoming. I stayed for a full week and not once did a staff member from the hotel or apartment complex greet me or check in on how my stay was going, which left me feeling like just another number. Another drawback is that while the property has a gym and pool, hotel guests don’t have access to them. When you compare the nightly hotel rate to what residents pay for their leased units, it doesn’t seem fair — you end up paying more per night while receiving fewer amenities. As for noise, guests should be aware that the building sits right on a main road. Between normal traffic and ongoing roadwork in the area, you do hear trucks and activity throughout the night. It wasn’t unbearable, but it’s worth noting if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, the suite itself was fine, but between the lack of hospitality, the limited amenities, and the road noise, it wasn’t the kind of experience I would hope for given the price.

Unit smelled from previous guest who cooked. Every time I walked in, I wanted to gag. There was hair on the floor from previous guests in the restroom. Was not cleaned thoroughly. Also—key card got demagnetized. Lobby is only staffed during certain hours. I was lucky and had to wait only 1/2 an hour for the office to open to get it fixed. I was worried all weekend when there was no staff that the card would be demagnetized again. There also was not enough hotel parking as the overflow was closed off due to the area being fixed. Had to look for parking on the street a couple nights. Good location, nice staff—but given all these issues, would not stay here again nor recommend it.

This is a great option for independent-minded travelers who want something clean and spacious near the university. There is not much in the way of front desk staff but they communicated smoothly about check in and check out. There is an excellent bakery downstairs on the premises. The kitchen is stocked with basic pots, pans, utensils, etc. Tons of space. There is a bit of street noise as the property is at a busy intersection, so bring your earplugs just in case. Overall, good value.

Clean unit. Ac did not work and unit did not have windows that you could open. I was told after I would be changed to another unit and to call the front desk. When I did, I was advised by text that front desk was closed until 12pm on Sunday. Made my stay very uncomfortable with no AC.
