Overall, the hotel and our room was perfect for our time at University of Illinois; great location and a plus to have the Bake Lab on the first floor! The only negative was that sadly the room was not swept or vacuumed before our stay. Crumbs, hair, etc on floor and rug areas.

Only 1 key card worked and was almost locked out. We located 1 bedroom's remote control as we were preparing to leave (on the floor behind the bathroom door) and never found the second. Expected slightly better kitchen arrangements. There were lumps of burned ash in the oven which made us question usage.
