The property is old and shabby but the bedding and room was clean. The bathroom was spotless. The lighting was terrible. We blew the breaker making coffee. The screen had a hole cut in so you could shut the window. We could hear talking in the next room. No dining on site but available across the highway.

Keep driving.

We knew from reviews it was old, and I knew it would smell old. But the beds were bricks. The breakers were tied to the lights, so if you shut off lights the plugs and microwave went off.

We stayed one night en route to final destination. Air conditioning stopped working during a heat wave but was rectified by resetting a breaker. There were limited electrical outlets, so we think that multiple appliances (a/c, microwave) on same circuit caused it to trip. For a short stay, it was fine.

Rocky Inn is a clean and well maintained facility. Rooms are large and seem to have been recently renovated, with a nice log cabin vibe. It is ideal for a short stay in the Valemount area.

This is a pleasant surprise. What a adorable room, very spacious and newly renovated. The beds were comfortable and even had a handy table and chairs for using a computer etc. Definitely recommend this charming place and will be back.

There aren't many inexpensive options near the Rocky Mountains but this still seemed a bit pricey for what we got. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom had been updated. However, the rest of the room was dated and the coffeemaker didn't work. The hotel is a faded chalet style that has seen better days. Hopefully the updated bathrooms mean it's being worked on.
