Here you will also find a fitted breakfast bar, where everyone can gather together to discuss the day’s adventures.Upstairs, the villa’s effortless charm continues, with two bedrooms located on the first floor. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and an indulgent bathtub, where you can completely unwind after a day spent swimming in the sea or exploring the wonders of Antigua. An en-suite bathroom is also available on the second floor.Air conditioning is featured throughout the villa, with ceiling fans also included in the living space and each of the bedrooms, ensuring that your nights are cool and restful. Antigua and Barbuda is a nation made up of two sister islands and several smaller islets, all situated in the heart of the Caribbean. The Tamarind Hills Resort’s fantastic location means you will have direct access to the silky white sands of two idyllic beaches, Ffryes and Darkwood. Surrounded by dense green hilltops, Ffryes Beach is a popular spot with tourists and locals alike. Here, you can spend the day snorkeling in the turquoise waters, before indulging in an excellent dinner at one of the restaurants on the marina at nearby Jolly Harbour.

Slightly further afield, Nelson’s Dockyard National Park is one of five national parks in Antigua. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, this eighteenth-century British naval dockyard is an area of great historical significance on the island, as well as a popular venue for maritime events and activities. For those who wish to experience the magic for themselves, there are plenty of sailing excursions and water-based activities available.

There are plenty of fantastic trekking trails around the island, taking in sandy beaches, rainforests and dreamlike coastal views. For a challenging hike, put on your hiking shoes and visit Mount Obama, the highest peak in Antigua. From the summit, enjoy the panoramic views, before descending to Cades Bay for a delightfully refreshing dip in the ocean.

Don’t forget to visit Shirley Heights, a restored military lookout known for its bewitching views and community feel. With a popular street party happening every Sunday evening, visitors are welcome to enjoy the music of live Caribbean steel drum bands, taste some of the local food and rum punch and take in the breathtaking sights as the sun begins to go down on the beautiful island of Antigua
