Enjoy your stay in our 1 bedroom suite that has 10 ft ceilings, 55 inch TV and equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. There is lots of free parking out front of our place in our beautiful neighborhood.

Very nice, clean VRBO. But, unless I missed it, I didn't know there were about a dozen steep steps to get down to suite. It's a bit tough if a senior and/or with big luggage. But, overall this is a great spot. It's in a safe, suburban neighbourhood with parking literally right out front. The host responded quickly to a couple of questions emailed during stay. You do need to drive a ways if you want the downtown experience, but for us this was a good choice.

The best measure of a host, is how they respond when things do not go according to plan. These hosts, Dan and Nicole, strongly demonstrated their proactive commitment to their guests. Although the stay started off with everyone being let down by a no-show cleaning crew, the reaction and speed by which Daniel and Nicole addressed the situation was quick, thorough and impressive. This is a very nice suite in a very quiet neighbourhood. And a central location with easy access to downtown Vancouver and beyond. Guests are in good hands with Daniel and Nicole.

Pros: Daniel is very responsive, and instructions are very clear, WiFi is stable and fast most of the time. The location is great! Plenty of parking spots in the street. Basically 15-35 minutes’ drive to everywhere (attractions). It’s a clean and cozy apartment. A full size fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, coffee machine, kettle, washing machine & dryer. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking your own meals, all the utensils you need, pots, a pan, roughly 3-4 sets of tableware, glasses. , mugs Cons: Yes, reception is not working in the room, was not able to make phone calls actually. Could be a little noisy for each other (property owner & guests). During our 10 nights’ stay, we came back at 4pm for a few days where the property owner’s kids were loud, and maybe because of the holidays, they were playing in the basement until late (after 10pm for a couple of nights). It didn’t bother us as we went to bed late. The insulation is a bit concerning, and I hope we didn’t bother them coz we played board games for a couple of nights. Overall it’s a very nice stay!

The landlord has been very prompt in response. The suite is kept very clean, adequate amount of cutleries, beverages (coffee & tea) and kitchen gadgets. You can do basic cooking using the induction stove. I love spicy food, but didn't cook spicy food as the food smell might stay in the suite due to absence of an exhaust. Everything else was top notch. I would come again!

The picture of this place does not do it justice. It is very beautiful. Everything was very well organized and clean. Everything we needed plus extras was thought of. Very quiet, close parking. It is a very nice, safe location. It is close to food and shopping. Highly recommend this place to stay.

Lovely place!

Check-in and out was simple. Nice clean, bright place, especially for a basement suite with few windows. Loved having a kitchen, even though all we made was toast. Wasn't sure about the induction hot plate as I've never cooked on an induction burner before. Wi-fi was solid. Stairs to the front door were a bit of a chore for me with a bad knee but otherwise a very nice place in a pretty neighbourhood. The only problem we really had was our phones would not work until we could get up to street level... both texting and phone calls. Frequently had messages with "emergency calls only" on our screens. Possibly because it's a basement suite? Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Quiet Location but still near by many sites.

Unit was as advertised. There are some stairs to reach the entrance. Check in was smooth. Many parks near by which was great for my toddler. Unit had everything we needed for our trip. It was very easy communicating with the host when we needed something. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of street parking, always felt safe.

Home away from home
