Check in was slower than usual and it was late at night, people were noticeably displeased. And I’m not sure when the last time my room was dusted. You could draw on the furniture with your finger. Very unusual and below standard for a Fairmont property, where the stay is usually impeccable.

Check in was smooth, even after we arrived fairly late they upgraded our room and gave my kids a choice of stuffed animals to pick from. A wonderful experience even when we’re were there only for a quick overnight stay for a flight the next day.
