I was grateful for the upgrade. Sadly, the shower was plugged, and someone’s used robe was in the closet. Definitely not the usual Fairmont Standard. I had a late flight delay arriving and an early morning departure, so I did not have time to go to the desk again to discuss this.

Check in was smooth, even after we arrived fairly late they upgraded our room and gave my kids a choice of stuffed animals to pick from. A wonderful experience even when we’re were there only for a quick overnight stay for a flight the next day.
