We were put in a lovely corner room however there was another room next to our with an adjoining door. We were there for an evening for my husband’s birthday. The next room had a family with a small child. We could hear the child early afternoon and didn’t think much of it as we had dinner plans. Our friends came back to the room after dinner. Just us 4 were catching up and chatting not being loud. No music when the hotel called us saying there was a noise complaint. I advised that there were 4 people here and to come see for yourself that it wasn’t anything more. Someone the came up an realized it was a relaxed get together. The next morning at 6am-7am we could hear the child screaming and yelling. We were quite disappointed and suggest that if it’s not a full house then do not put people that are not sharing the adjoining rooom next to each other. There is absolutely no sound proofing. I will not be going back.

It was a nice room, quiet, and checking was easy. The parking is shared with a public lot and the hotel told us we could use the public lot to pay because it was probably cheaper (since we were only staying for a night). They had me check on the price using a QR code before paying them for parking. It ended up costing $32 instead of $46 for 24 hours of parking. I appreciated that they were up front and helped get a cheaper price. Would stay again!

We paid an additional $50 for an upgraded suite. I had originally booked a king suite with balcony. I don’t feel that it was an upgrade on any level. It was quite dated with the exception of newer carpet?? We had recently stayed in a king suite in Toronto and it was an extremely beautiful suite. I would recommend the Toronto Hyatt over Vancouver. That being said, the staff were absolutely great.
