Good location and good size rooms. Old and tired apartment building being converted to a hotel. Renovations were in progress during our stay Oct14-16 2025, needs a lot more work done. If you're paying more than $150 a night it's overpriced.

This hotel is actively under renovation, in our suite has not been renovated for the past 30 years. I would not stay here ever again. The elevator needs to be improved.

A little run down and slow check in process, but it was clean, convenient, quiet and safe. Large rooms, not sure why there was an extra charge for stove usage when you're already paying quite a bit for the room. Staff was friendly. Walkable to alot, and bus right outside. Safe area and parking.

The hotel offers excellent value given its prime location. While the rooms are quite dated, they are very spacious, clean, and the beds are comfortable. Each unit includes a full kitchen; however, there is a $25 fee to use the stove/oven, which was surprising—I’ve never stayed at a hotel that charges for kitchen use. As a result, we chose not to use it. Utensils and glasses are provided, but there were no dishes for eating. Perhaps they were kept in the locked cupboard, but it wasn’t clear. There is also a $25 charge if you leave dirty dishes in the kitchen. I would expect to wash dishes if a dishwasher was provided, but without one I don’t want to rely on other guests to clean items to an acceptable standard for the next guests to use. Overall, the room was comfortable and adequate, the price was excellent, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay enjoyable.

I booked on the night I stayed given circumstances I was quite happy with their rate compared to other offerings. This hotel is located in the North West area of the WestEnd. A quiet part of town near many restaurants and many places to walk to Coal Harbour Sea Wall Stanley Park, English Bay and major shopping. I was quite impressed with ease of CheckIn and Check Out plus the building, older but updated, I stayed hrre before, and the updates are amazing plus Rooms come with a Kitchen. A gem of a hotel. Props to the Young Male staff who obvs is new, night audit person, and Im confident anybody in the hotel field would scope him up as his advancement is limited at this fine hotel, and he seems trained for bigger roles. I hope this hotel gives him incentives to stay and expand his knowledge, if they want to keep him. Happy Hoteling.

Staff was super friendly and the room was in great condition; quite karge and there was a balcony. The area around the hotel had lots of shops and great restaurants. Was very near the 19 and 250 buses which msde it easy to get around without a vehicle.

Great location. Staff was very friendly and willing to help. Check-in was not great. Official check-in time was stated as 3:00pm. We arrived at 2:30 in pouring rain and were told that they could not check us in until 3:00. We came back at 3:00 to check-in with 10 other people a head of us lined up as they could only check in 1 reservation at a time so it took a while. We were also told that there was a $25 charge to use the stove and we had to get the staff to come and unlock the cupboard with the cups, glasses & plates.

The main picture that you first see on the internet is nothing like the room. The main picture showed a large balcony with a table and 2 chairs. Our balcony wouldn’t take 2 chairs. The cupboards in the kitchenette were sticky.
