The room was in fairly good condition. Minor damages here and there from age. Great space. Nice sitting area. Full kitchen. Comfortable bed room, that was able to get nice and dark. Hotel was in a perfect location. Underground parking is cheaper than most places and I had no issues. Room was pricy but like, so is everthing in the area and the value for dollar was really good imo

I don't agree with the negative reviews. This was a perfectly acceptable mid range hotel. It was clean. Lots of walking options for dining and site seeing. Easy 15 minute walk to the subway from the airport or to anywhere in Vancouver. We had a one bdrm suite. Comfortable bed. Small functional kitchen. Washer dryer combo that actually dried clothes. It was clean. Elevator not a problem. Housekeeping if you wanted it. Wasn't warm enough for the pool but it looked nice. Gym was OK for a rainy day Would not hesitate to stay again.

Really enjoyed my stay here. They accommodated my late request for overnight parking and was super helpful. I gave an average rating for the area around the property only because there were individuals roaming the streets but I was luckily in a group and felt safe. the average rating HAS NOTHING to do with the interior of sandman or the facilities. I would stay here again in the future.

Very convenient location in the dynamic heart of the Vancouver Pride area. Many restaurants, interesting bars and little multi-ethnic stores. The hotel apartment was good, clean and basic but we did have problems with an uncomfortable mattress which was immediately addressed by management with a better result. Don't look for luxury but ticks the boxes for convenience and location.

I didn’t like that we had to pay for parking/per night at the hotel$ 25.00 a night. They should have included that in their website. Elevator didn’t work. Cleaning service only came once in the week we were there.

The staff and service were excellent. The suite was bigger than we expected and equipped with a full kitchen and laundry. The location is close to lots of great restaurants and easily accessible to phnlic transportation. The only downside is the wait for the elevator can be a bit long as one was broken during our stay.
