I had booked one night for the sole purpose of being close to the airport, only to discover just prior to check-in that there is a €15 transfer charge, each way.
When I checked in, I was given a room in the neighbouring hotel, Ca Tessera Park, which was fine, as it was close by. Room was nice, but there was rubbish (boarding passes etc.) from previous guests in the room, and the shower gel minis had not been changed from the previous occupants. When I went into the room it was very dark, with all the curtains closed. I realised when I went to open the curtains that there was building work going on outside the room, with industrial equipment (crane/loader etc.) parked right outside the room window.
There is no restaurant onsite for evening meals, but they recommend a nearby restaurant, about 1km away. When I asked the receptionist to book a table, she said she'd try, but that she'd been unable to book for another guest earlier. When she rang, the restaurant did not answer. Could probably do with providing better alternatives, or letting guests know before they arrive that the recommended restaurant can get busy, and offer to make bookings if required. Found a pizza restaurant nearby, Al Quadrante. Doesn't look particularly fancy, but the food was delicious.
Overall the hotel was fine for one night, just a few minor annoyances that could be easily sorted.
