No check in desk, construction is going on on the outside of the building, no room service as was claimed, and pretty noisy due to thin walls. On the positive side, at a walking distance to the train and bus stations.

Great place in a very quiet/convenient location about 12 minute walk from the train station. Picked the place based on proximity to the train and we could not have been happier. The room was very spacious and it had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is in an area with a university nearby in a neighborhood that feels very local. Definitely away from the more touristy area of Venice which we really enjoyed. Many restaurants and cafes within a short walking distance. Still close enough to walk to all of the more popular spots in Venice. Only issue we had was the water that would leak out of the shower stall onto the floor. Not a huge issue and the owner gave is additional towels to be able to dry it up and keep things clean. Would return when in Venice!
