Disappointing. We booked this hotel for the terrace and spa pool. Although it was made clear that the apartment was in a separate building, I hadn't appreciated that it was almost a kilometer away and at a separate property, until I got the confirmation from Verona House Aparthotel instead of Hotel Milano & Spa. We paid more than other options because of the appeal of the terrace not realising that it was some distance away and we couldn't just use it whenever we wanted or simply to relax. To use the terrace during the day you have to book in advance and pay an additional €20 per person (not indicated on the website). After 3pm the terrace is used as a bar and restaurant and is open to the public, so we could have booked that anyway. The room we had the first night (number 52 on the ground floor) was awful! It was tiny, dark, smelly and noisy - we could hear the lift going up and down and hear every word from reception. The bathroom light was triggered by a motion censor, so went off when I was in the shower, there was no toilet roll holder or soap dish and the shower was mouldy and the shower door broken... They moved us to a different room on floor 2 on the second night when I told them how noisy it was. The second room was lovely, exactly what we would have expected for the price we paid. Positives: lovely staff, very good breakfast and bikes available to borrow. Negatives: not very environmentally friendly, towels changed constantly and no option to ask them not to.

The most incredible and helpful staff I’ve ever experienced. They even arranged for a cappuccino in the long while we waited for a taxi they arranged for us. Absolutely 100% recommend this hotel

Location, style and service!!

Everything was great. If going to the opera, this is the PERFECT place to say. The location is amazing, and the rooftop bar and restaurant are wonderful with views of the Arena! Also, multilingual staff were friendly and very courteous.

The people at reception are so kind. i forgot my insulin needles and the young man who works there, Nicola, actually walked me to the pharmacy. The pharmacist gave me my needles for free. Later, when i had to move to another accommodation, Nicola walked me to my new place. The service offered is outstanding!

Perfection

Milano & Spa is perfectly located - right in the heart of Verona, yet still peaceful. It was spotless throughout, and the service was outstanding. Every member of staff, from reception to the terrace bar, went out of their way to make our stay special. The rooms are stunning, with beautiful, decor that made it feel like a luxury escape. One of the standout highlights was the rooftop jacuzzi, which is free for guests to use. Sipping a drink while overlooking the Roman arena was the perfect way to unwind - absolutely breathtaking. I loved this hotel and would come back in a heartbeat. The staff are a real credit to the hotel, nothing was too much trouble. They even made sure we had fresh water for our onward journey

Our stay at this hotel was a wonderful surprise. From the welcome and valet parking to the helpful, friendly staff! It is perfectly situated for exploring beautiful Verona after partaking of the delicious breakfast spread. The room was bijou but had many extras to make it very comfortable. It truly is pet friendly- especially with gorgeous Mia in the foyer waiting to greet the guests. We will be back!

You just don’t get more central location than this location, Getting to the location can be a little bit challenging because of the narrow streets of Verona but once you’re there, you are in the center of the action literally one minute walk to the arena Location, location, location. Just please take into consideration the hot tub on the roof can be accessed only by appointment until 3 PM, And only between 3 PM to 6 PM there is free access. The bar on the roof overlooks the arena and Verona is a unique, relaxing experience

Although the apartment is not a part of the actual hotel and spa they accommodate you as if you’re staying there. I went to the main hotel building and they drove my bags over to the other building which was so nice. The apartment is located right next to the castle which was so fun to wake up, walk outside and see first thing in the morning by the river.
