This is not really a criticism of the Hotel, but, the guest above me was walking around and making other noise for about an hour at 2 am which disrupted my sleep. The grounds keepers were using very noisy gas powered equipment although that was at a normal time of day. There are quiet options available these days Everything else was good

The rooms have too much furniture which makes tight, tour buses block the entrance so cannot drive in (staff did not care), the parking lot is full of potholes, the price is excessive for quality compared to other Victoria properties, no AC. Positives are the rooms were fixed nice each day, the staff did handle some requests quickly, and grounds are pretty.

The property was clean and the gardens were lovely. There is an indoor pool and hot tub. The room was spacious with plenty of storage and two closets. The hotel is one block from the harbor, Government building, museum and other attractions. My favorite breakfast spot, 'Floyd's' is now located right at the hotel!

Fantastic stay! Very well kept and offers all of the amenities you could think of, and then some. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. If you’re looking for somewhere within walking distance of all things Downtown Victoria, this is your spot. We will definitely stay here again!

I traveled with a friend and we had the suite with the pullout sofa. The only negative is that the furniture is dated — which didn’t bother me, but seems to cause a lot of unnecessary hate in the reviews. We had a lovely balcony and could see the harbor between the buildings. It was a great place for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evenings. The hotel is close to the downtown attractions and parking is easy. There is a breakfast/lunch restaurant attached to the hotel and it was delicious and had espresso drinks. I loved this little gem and would totally stay there again.
