2 stars awarded. Good location and clean. 3 stars deducted. Room quality was sub par and similar to very budget hotels. General smell of cigarette smoke throughout the building. Customer service is the main issue. Having paid up front for my 4 night stay, I informed the hotel I was going to be a day late in arriving due to a flight cancellation. I received no response. On arrival, my room had been allocated to another person and I was obliged to take an upgraded room for which I was charged an additional €65. I felt this was a shameless cash grab despite having paid over €500 for my stay. For that reason I would avoid staying here again. situation

"I booked a superior room only to discover the view was a brick wall of a neighboring building under construction. I was offered two alternative rooms, but both were smaller. The rooms lacked basic amenities such as a phone and mini bar, and the décor fell short of even a good three-star standard, let alone four. On one occasion, housekeeping failed to replenish the coffee sachets, and when I asked at reception, the staff were unable to locate any coffee at all. The most postive aspect were staff were friendly.

The room had been renovated in recent times although to a minimalist level in terms of furniture and on-suite quality. The hotel was more at the 3 star level by comparison to similar hotels across other European cities. Poor or non-existent refreshment facilities. The room even lacked a bin! Staffing at the Reception was variable with a range of generally pleasant young folk frequently not present and on some occasions significantly understaffed and overwhelmed by queuing guests. On occasion mattes rai The bar was inconsequential for a four star hotel. An evening resturant is non-existent. Our views were confirmed by a chance encounter with a hotel guest couple firmly echoing our perceptions. Although generally conveniently located for access to the City’s attractive tourist features, this is not a hotel of the expected four star quality and standards in a major European city.

The staff was very hospitable and accommodating! The location was nice! I only complaint would be the quality of the pillows. They felt very dead, as you would lay down on them, your head would sink to the bed.

room was sdequate but like the whole hotel needs a through clean. Both lifts were out of action for 3 days and we were on the 5th floor. We were eventually moved as I have had a recent knee replacement. No safe in the room and only 2 hangers

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and warm. The breakfast was fine but I would have liked a fresh fruit salad to go with the yoghurt. The lift was broken and we had to climb 4 floors for the first 3 days.

Fuimos el finde del 7 al 9 y fue estupendo hay unq muchacha que habla español y nos lo hizo muchon mas facil la habitacion era estupenda, sin decirles nada ellos te hacen la cama y ordenan el cuarto el baño es muy grande hay un sofá de dos plazas también que me parece que se convierte en sofá cama y espacioso y la cama también lo es está muy bien aislado el frío incluso tuvimos que poner el aire acondicionado porque teníamos un poquito de calor del cambio de tiempo de afuera adentro les pedimos chanclas para usarlas y no las dieron también puede pedir pasta de dientes cepillo y etcétera y sin decirle nada cuando van a la habitación a ordenartela también te ordenan la ropa también tienes un agua de cortesía y café una neverita y una caja fuerte yo lo recomendaría si vuelvo a Viena volveré a este hotel y esta a 15 min del centro que puedes ir andando o en tranvia
