Nice little hotel. Well located. Clean and comfortable. But I felt pressured by the description clerk to buy the hotel’s breakfast. Glad I didn’t because there is a fantastic 100 year old cafe very close by. I suggest you go without their 30 euro breakfast. Go left out the front door, left at the end of the block. Walk one block and Cafe is almost directly across the street.

Super hotel

Beautiful room in stylish hotel. Well located in quite spot within walking distance of city centre and museums. Didn’t bother catching public transport during our stay, other than to and from airport, which was easier than we had anticipated. Staff very friendly and breakfast was great, well worth the money. Would recommend.

I had my wallet stolen inside the hotel I lost 500 euros. Four day after it was stolen, the wallet appeared on my bed in my room. I filed a police report and will take legal against this hotel.

Excellent hotel

Hotel Josefshof am Rathaus is a gem in Vienna. The breakfasts are simply incredible—elaborate, fresh, and the perfect start to the day. The staff are warm, professional, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, offering a restful stay. The location is ideal: tucked in a quiet, charming part of town right behind City Hall, Parliament, and the Supreme Court, yet just a short walk from all the major sights and only steps from the underground. Excellent restaurants are nearby as well. My only quibble is that the internet could be better in some of the upper rooms. That said, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great Hotel.

The hotel was very user friendly. The staff was AMAZING. I LOVE that they do Breakfast till 12 p.m. That is a BIG PLUS. No restaurant on premise for lunch or dinner, but they do have pizza and sandwiches available with drinks till 12 am, so no big deal.Many great restaurants within walking distance. The only comment is for me the room was a bit small . Having said that everything in the room was in new to perfect condition. Would stay there again when in Vienna.

We had a bit of a service complaint on the first night but the hotel fixed it and more than made up for it. The location is great, easily accessible to underground, tram as well as hop-on hopoff tours. It is 10 mins walk from the main museums. The morning breakfast, should you opt in, also has a good variety.

Good hotel, solid value.

Very good breakfast that included lox. Croissants were high quality. Very comfortable bed and effective ac, important as temperature went up into the low to mid 90’s, several days. Toilet cover fell off and I reported it but the problem was not completely rectified. People at reception aim to please which is a nice plus. Building is clean and not a lot of noise can be heard from soundproofed rooms. The price of rooms will not break the bank

The hotel was within walking distance of most everything. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The staff were excellent, very friendly and so helpful. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend the hotel to anyone thinking about booking here
