Absolutely loved my stay at the Vieques Guest House! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the stunning island. The location couldn't be better—just a short walk to the beach and local attractions. I appreciated the helpful recommendations from the staff, who were always eager to share insider tips about the best places to visit Overall, my experience at Vieques Guest House exceeded all expectations. It's the perfect place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Vieques. I can't wait to return! Highly recommend!

Amanda, the owner, was very pleasant. I didn’t get her name, but the woman at the store’s register was great and very personable. It was nice having the store in the lobby for snacks, drinks, and breakfast is the morning. There are tables to eat your meal and free coffee is provided. You can rent beach chairs for $5 a day. We also rented a cooler. There is no fee for borrowing beach towels. There’s an outdoor shower to rinse sand off before going to your room. There are many roosters in the area that will wake you up early. I was used to them by the third day. Bring earplugs if you think this may be an issue for you. The bed was my only major gripe - not comfortable. Everyone in my party had the same complaint about the beds. There were four of us, in two separate rooms, with four separate beds. The lobby, including the front desk, is closed from 11am-2pm, and closes for the day at 5pm. The hotel is walkable, but a little further down from the main strip of restaurants, etc. I don’t mind walking, but after a long day, I wished I were closer. My group did not have a car and we were fine. Coconut beach is across the street. There were lots of lovely wild horses and a couple of beach swings. Beautiful Sun Bay beach is not too far. There are a list of recommended taxi drivers in the lobby. I hope this review helps you.

This was an amazing place to stay! The owner provided so many great suggestions that made the trip perfect! The roof top deck had beautiful sunsets and creates a perfect environment for guests to interact with each other somewhat like a bed and breakfast. Plenty of privacy if that’s what you are looking for too. We will be back and have a longer stay. Four nights would have been perfect to see all the beaches and explore the island. Definitely rent a vehicle to get around. If I could have given 10 stars I would have!

The Vieques guest house was great and we highly recommend it for your stay in Vieques. The room was clean and comfortable and the outdoor spaces, balcony and roof, have a great view to the ocean and were overall very pleasant. Amanda was proactive in providing information immediately after we placed the reservation and through our stay, with good recommendations for activities and tours that directed us to the best Bioluminisence tour and a wonderful snorkeling tour. Overall one of the highlights of our trip.

Sweet Place to Land in Vieques

John and I very much enjoyed staying at the Vieques Guesthouse. It's a great location, the room was adequate, and the porch was amazing. Amanda and Todd were generous with their time and advice and made themselves very available to help. Breakfast in the morning was perfect. The guesthouse set up makes it ideal for individuals, couples, or families and also the opportunity to meet others over coffee or watching the sunset on the roof. Overall, a great vibe and stay. Thanks for having us!
