About this property

Sandstone Studio w/Private Courtyard, 20 minutes from Zion

We aim to complement the experience of visiting Zion by bringing the feeling of the outdoors inside: natural light, airy ceilings, and canyon colors. A glass door and tall windows make the private courtyard feel like part of the interior.

(Please note that - alas! - we cannot allow pets. We do love animals, but allergies intervene.)

Newly built in 2020, the studio is attached to our home but functions as a totally private apartment with its own entrance, gated courtyard, kitchenette, climate control, and smart TV. We have two adjacent studio rentals and courtyards with similar accommodations, also attached to our home. All are fully electric and run on solar power.

Our memory foam mattresses are comfy as all get-out and we went out of our way to make sure the showers are exactly what hikers are looking for after a long day: great water pressure and giant, fluffy towels! This is a great spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Zion area and a well-placed launching pad for your next outing.
During your stay at this apartment building, you'll be close to Red Bull Rampage Bike Park. A kitchenette and a patio are available in the apartment.

Rules

Absolutely no open flame, please! Things like candles and the like. To everyone's chagrin, our town doesn't have a fire department.

Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am, as most of our guests are here to go hiking and plan to wake up early.

Local laws state we can only host a maximum of 2 people in any of our studios. Legally, we cannot bend on this or we risk losing our license.

This was one of our best vacation rental experiences ever. The house is small but cute and doesn't feel crowded. Bed was super comfy. And the hosts left thoughtful items (water, snacks, basic feminine products). This was a perfect home base for soaking at Zion Hot Spring! Oh, and communication with the hosts was clear and prompt. Overall, a five star experience!

Close to the Canyon

We were a short easy drive from Zion National Park. The property was not big but was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The shower was excellent and the bed was comfortable. Communication with our host was excellent and she was concerned with our satisfaction with the apartment. We would recommend the property for the combination of value and proximity to the national park.

Nice southwestern feel

We enjoyed our stay a lot. It was clean and homey. Loved the private courtyard. One recommendation if possible provide a toaster and hot plate. We usually like to make breakfast then head out for the the day. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Thanks very much!

Two Nights SW of Zion Between Full Moon and Fall Equinox

Lots of nice personal touches, large format framed photos on walls, special rocks on shelves, a great little library. and a enclosed courtyard. Place was spotless, and new. About a twenty minute drive back to Springdale and Zion. I would definitely recommend.

Great hosts

Room just as pictured. The hosts left a bottle of water, some snacks and coffee and tea. It was very nice to have that little extra since we didn’t have meals in the room. Super easy to find with Google maps and easy to check in and was a great room for the couple of nights we were there.

Superb Stay at Sandstone

Short drive to Zion from this stunning studio. Hosts were attentive with quick communications to our queries. Beautifully designed, lovely artwork and comfortable bed/furnishings. Convenient to have the fridge, microwave and crockery/cutlery for breakfast. Nice patio with a table to enjoy outdoors space and parking close to the private entrance. We'd love to stay here again as 2 days was not enough time in Zion NP!
