Stay was okay, beach area closed off behind hotel

Overall our stay was okay. Hotel is a little ran down. Elevators and halls dirty. Our room was okay, shower was modern but toilet was old and rusty. Beds were comfy. We were close to garage exit so we would hear door slamming constantly. Breakfast was okay. Only upside was being oceanfront but be aware that there is maintenance being done on the beach right behind hotel so beach area was closed off right behind our hotel and also loud due to tractors.

Room was nice and clean, beds were comfy, and check-in was easy. Unfortunately, the attached parking garage is not big enough for a truck and we did some damage to our vehicle (but that's on us). Just a warning, steer clear of the garage with a 2500. Otherwise, it was a nice stay!

The property overall is good! I would say the free breakfast only going to 9 am is a complete bummer on trying to sleep in a little it needs to go back to 10 am. And for my roomies the smell of marijauna being smoked on the balconies takes away from the smell of the ocean. Thanks!

The property lacks proper cleaning. When we received our room the room wasn’t very clean. One of the staff was very rude when we asked for the room to be cleaned she said we only clean after your third day only as a hotel policy. On top of all of that someone on the floor we stayed at was smoking weed and the smell was in the entire floor. I couldn’t sit with my wife on the balcony due to the smell and was inconvenient for me to have my kids around smell like that and poor cleanliness. This was my second year staying here but not going to repeat it again. Not very hospitable check in either

It was very nice no time to try this breakfast no time to try the pool. Do not go down here during spring break. It’s a lot that goes on. It’s very crowded and a lot of people. Well, not people a whole lot of children. I would definitely stay there again just not at that time.

Return trip. Have stayed many times at this hotel now. Great location. Clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Plenty of parking and ease of parking is a huge plus. Decent breakfast options available. Have not used pool but nice to have available and hotel called me to advise it would be closed one day for cleaning which I appreciate that attention to service. Expected uncertain weather being April and didn’t get to walk on beach but so much to do and lots of great places to eat. Already looking forward to next trip!

This is my preferred hotel when visiting VA Beach. Although not used, I was given the hours of the pool only to walk by and the pool was closed. Not sure if the staff member that checked me in was aware. Nonetheless, the room did have some upgrades and was very clean. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I will be returning.
