All of the staff were fabulous! From checking in really later (later than expected) to checking out, we had extremely helpful staff. The breakfast helper was super friendly and personable and the maintenance staff were great when we ran into a locked door issue right before checking out.

I had some very loud neighbors the first night I was there , I also put in a request for another recliner chair that was broken in my room , the desk said they would take care of that the next day and it never happened!

I am VERY disappointed with my WEEKEND stay. I booked this hotel for my daughters cheerleading competition. I am very big on reviews and pictures, and with past experiences at La Quinta in other states I guess it was a good idea to stay here cause of how nice and clean THOSE OTHER La Quinta's were. That was not the case with La Quinta at Virginia Beach. To start with, I drove 6hrs from New Jersey with my 6yr old daughter and we got their earlier than usual, we waited to get our room. The lobby was nice looking but once we walked to our room the hallways were dark and disgusting, it smelled bad! I felt as if I was in a dirty MOTEL! (Pictures on website were nothing like the REAL DEAL!!) There was no POOL or continental breakfast at the time they stated when asked they stated (6am-9am) and then all of the sudden when I went for it they stated it started at 7am. SMH!! Our room was clean (THANK GOD), but it had so many things wrong with it! The TV didn't have "connection" like HOW? so we didn't have any TV. The bathroom, the tub was clogged and had rust on it, we couldn't even shower there throughout our stay, we had to go to another cheer mates hotel to be able to shower. With the hectic weekend we had this WAS A BIG INCONVINCE!!! There was NO room service, and when I asked a worker she stated they didn't offer room service for the stays, and towels were not CHANGED unless you brought them to the front desk YOUSELF. Very disappointment with my weekend. Please fix this place
