Hawaiian Princess 1 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath end unit penthouse. There is no better ocean/beach view on the westside of the island than from the lanai of this 16th floor condo. This condo sits right on the beach. 850 square feet inside the condo, and 400 square feet of lanai space, for a total of 1,250 sq feet.
Watch turtles, dolphins and in the winter, whales from your private lanai. Open up the windows and let the tropical breeze and the sounds of the ocean lull you to sleep on our super comfy gel foam bed. Prepare meals in our kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, and enjoy watching sunsets while dining on the lanai. If you are looking for somewhere that you will want to return to year after year, this is it.

NOTE: This part of the island is a mixture of socio-economic backgrounds. We have multimillion dollar homes mixed with lower income housing and unfortunately, some homeless camps. There are camps on the west side because of the great weather, but there are homeless all over the island, especially in the big city. The average price of a home is well over a million dollars here. That prices a lot of people out of paradise. We are a gated and secure building. Most people leave their lanai doors open 24/7 to let the breeze come in and to hear the sights and sounds of the ocean. Just as an FYI, we live in the area, and we have never had an incident related to the homeless, except maybe someone holding a sign looking for a meal or a couple of dollars.

We are at the airport flying back to Canada but we had a wonderful one week stay at the Hawaiian Princess penthouse apartment. The views are spectacular as is the beach. We picked up groceries at a Safeway before heading to our condo and we enjoyed having our breakfasts on the lanai and tried to get back for sunset most nights. Though we were here for the Kona low # 3 and had a day of wind/cloud and one day of heavy rain the other days were awesome. The beach and ocean were great for swimming. We toured the whole island with day trips - though got stuck in 2 hour hour rush hour traffic on the day we went to Waikiki. Beach house 604 was great for nearby dinner but we cooked at the condo a lot too. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was so comfy. I had a conference at the Disney resort for 2 days and this was just 25 mins away. I can highly recommend this place if you’re looking for stunning views, more room than a hotel and an amazing beach. Mahalo!

The condo was exactly as described. The views from the balcony were unbelievable. We could see turtles swimming close to shore from the balcony and whale spouts further out in the ocean. We were visited by a seal one morning. It had even more amenities than were listed. We had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves in the condo and on the beach. The host was very thoughtful and responsive. I would highly recommend.

The condo was amazing! The view from the lanai couldn't be beat. Gorgeous view of the small bay, we saw sea turtles swimming every single day we were there. It was well-stocked with the basic necessities which made it very easy for us to just bring some food for our stay. All the instructions were very clear (and all the light switches were labeled! VERY helpful!!) The owner was very responsive when we had a couple questions and was extremely sweet. I would be MORE than happy to stay here again in the future, and 100% hope to do so.

Property was a gated condo. Security onsite 24/7. FOB required to access elevator. Code required to access steel security door for our unit. We felt very comfortable leaving the doors open while we slept to enjoy the waves and breeze. Unit was clean and everything worked as expected. Kathy provided in depth instructions to find unit, access keys and nearby stores and points of interest. Beach was clean and hardly anyone there. Warm water, turtles and seals. View was incredible.

Amazing! You won’t believe your eyes!

Any reviews about this condo having the best views in Oahu are correct! What you don’t hear as much about is that the Mountain View on the front side of the condo which you see while you walk down the breeze way to your room is equally amazing as the lanai beach view! Yes, there are the homeless. Visible, but don’t seem to cause issues for anyone. And it is not local to this area. We even saw them in Waikiki parks. The host, Kathleen, is friendly and responsive. We hope to return one day. Hawaii and the Hawaiian Princess is by far our favorite vacation spot thus far!

The overall experience was 2nd to none. There were no hidden fees or parking fees you hear about on other parts of the island. We were on the highest floor at the end of the building. It gave penthouse vibes with a wrap around porch (lanai) that had sweeping views of Papaoneone Beach and the small hike next to the property. Sea turtles EVERY morning were out in the bay. Plenty of provided beach gear, coffee stuff and cooking necessities made us feel like we were visiting our rich auntie not a VRBO! The mattress was perfect! Memory foam topper and great pillows. Plenty of space for your clothes if you want to hang them up or put them in the dresser. Mountain Magic Shave Ice had THE BEST shave ice I ate all week! 80 Percent What You Eat had great Açaí Bowl selection and killer avocado toast. Brazilian Brothas food truck had so much great food too. ALL within a 5 minute drive from the room. Sweeping views, great ac, thoughtfully laid out, we did not want to leave! Mahalo to our host for great communication and follow up.

What a view!

Beautiful condo right on the sand. Incredibly private and secure. Host very responsive and building staff are helpful. Area is just as host describes: range of multi-million beachfront homes to homeless encampments, especially near the Marina to the south. We kept our business mostly local to Wainae and Makaha and had no problems, and encountered only friendly business owners and fellow patrons. Plan ahead for visiting other areas of the island—Farrington Hwy is only route. Would definitely stay again.
