The connected mini iPad had everything from the light to the curtains connected. There was a small mini fridge and built in storage. The hotel had umbrellas you could check out and a restaurant on site. I have stayed at citizenM before overseas and it’s always a unique experience. The room didn’t have anyone come during the weekend when we had scheduled someone to take dirty towels away but the lobby gave us fresh towels. I liked their iron room which was on our floor. The room was rather small though and a bit tight for two people getting ready. We made it work though. Still a lovely a hotel and was a decent walk to the tourist areas.

WTF elevator video not appropriate for kids or god loving people.
Really clean bathroom. People in room can watch you take a poop through translucent glass. Creepy!

I loved their check in process, doesn’t feel like a money grab with unnecessary deposits. Love that you can do it yourself. And also, loved that the staff used their discretion to let us check in earlier since there were available rooms. Also LOVED their gym. We made use of it every day.

Typically I love this location and I would still stay again but this last trip was not so good Floor of room was totally buckled from water leaking out of shower or ceiling Multiple times water was dripping out of ceiling (maybe the AC) and the AC didn’t get cool/cold at all.

First time travelling to DC. Found this location a short walk from the train station coming from the airport. A short walk to the wharf, and a slightly longer walk to the National Mall. Lots of ebikes in the area to help with faster transportation. Bed was comfortable. Room was small but well planned.

Furnishings are minimalist but the bed is comfortable. Room is quiet. Bathroom is modern. Heat, A/C, lights, blinds and TV are all controlled from an iPad, which has a learning curve for some, but all the tech was functional. I would stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 nights, was excellent. The room is different than your typical hotel room; it was smaller but uses the space efficiently. Wasn’t a problem for me, I enjoyed the difference. My only qualm was the rooftop was closed, and it wasn’t advertised anywhere on/in the hotel besides the tablet in room. Otherwise great stay and convenient to metro station.

Unique interesting decor. Bed is on a platform and is a little difficult to get into and out of, the person by the window has to crawl across the bed. But it was do able. Very clean, helpful and polite staff. I would stay here again.
