Centrally located, check! No better way to experience the beauty of our nation's capital than by sleeping right in the heart of it. This charming single bedroom suite is situated right in the historic & hippest Shaw neighborhood; home to some of the best bars and restaurants in the district. This fabulous suite is metro accessible with the Convention Center, City Center, downtown, U Street, China Town, etc. just few blocks away. The perfect retreat for your stay after a long day of fun in D.C!.

Offering a clean and cozy fully renovated and furnished home that can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. This unit comes with a fully equipped kitchen to include a Keurig coffee machine (coffee pods, creamer, and sugar included), cookware, dishes/utensils, dishwasher, microwave and full size fridge.

The living room also comes equipped with a 55" flat screen TV (Netflix/Premium cable channels) and a sofa that will comfortably seat you and your guests and if need be, also serve as a queen sofa sleeper (additional linens & blankets, included). Board games such as Jenga, Monopoly, Connect Four, Scrabble, and more are also included for a fun simple night in with family & friends.

The main bedroom comes with a queen size bed, large closet, full body mirror and a 45" flat screen TV (Netflix/Premium cable channels). The bedroom also has a walkout door that leads to a private outdoor patio area with a table and chairs for additional relaxation. There is one full bathroom in the unit and it comes fully stocked with shampoo/conditioner, body wash, hair dryer and fresh towels and washcloths for the guests use.

Other amenities such as an iron/ironing board, high chair, and playpen are available free of cost/use, if needed.

This peaceful oasis is located in the historic bustling Shaw district in Northwest DC, home to some of DC's best bars, dining, and entertainment. Just a short 5-10 minute walk from two metro stations (Shaw-Howard University station & Mt Vernon Sq. 7th St-Convention Center), less than a mile to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Captial One Arena, Gallery Place/Chinatown, City Center, Logan Circle and just a short ride to DC's most memorable touristic attractions such Smithsonian museums, Washington Monument, The White House, etc.

Just a short 5-10 minute walk from two metro stations (Shaw-Howard University station & Mt Vernon Sq. 7th St-Convention Center), less than a mile to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Capital One Arena, Gallery Place/Chinatown, City Center, Logan Circle and just a short ride to DC's most memorable touristic attractions such Smithsonian museums, Washington Monument, The White House, etc.

In lieu of metro riding, one can also order a taxi or there are plenty of Ubers/Lyfts in area if needed as well as the Capital Bike Share bike and/or portable riding scooters such as Bird, Lime, Spin, etc.

We do not have driveway/garage parking and though street parking is ample, it is generally 2 hour parking unless you have a residential permit. There is a parking garage 0.4 mi from the unit that offers hourly and $30/day (approx.) parking. It is called City Market at O Street and is located at 1415 9th St NW. Garage hours are 5am-10pm.

Lovely apartment in a friendly neighborhood. The home was spotless with a nice kitchen which included a gas stove, microwave, fully stocked Keurig coffee maker, and full size refrigerator. Lots of great restaurants were close by and a Giant market was three blocks away. The Metro station was only 5 blocks away and we rode it everywhere. I definitely recommend this apartment for your DC vacation. We loved it.

Nice and clean but very small

The couch in the living room is terrible. It's very uncomfortable and so are the chairs for the dining table so there was really no good place to sit and watch television in this very small and cozy space. It's nicely updated but really only comfortable for two people.

DC vacation

My husband and I spent four nights at this property in late April 2025. Cozy apartment was a good size for two people, and the apartment has been recently remodeled. The kitchen includes a stove, microwave, sink, dishwasher, K-cup coffeemaker, full-size fridge, and stacked washer/dryer. Plenty of dishes, cookware, silverware, and paper towels. The bathroom has a nice-size shower. The bedroom is a bit cramped but has a good closet with plenty of nice wood hangers. Large smart TVs in the bedroom and in the living area. My only complaint is the couch in the living area was sooo uncomfortable. One night we tried to sit there and watch a movie, but we moved to the tv in the bedroom instead. The location is about a 10-minute walk to the Mount Vernon Square metro station. If you want to walk to the National Mall, it’s only about a 30-minute stroll from the apartment. There is a Giant grocery store a couple blocks away. We enjoyed our stay!

Lovely and well stocked!

This is a lovely and quiet place to stay in DC! The location is ideal if you are attending a conference - it's around a 10-minute walk from the convention center. There's a grocery store three blocks away as well! We biked to the National Mall every day and used the city's CaBi bikes (the check-out station was right outside of the grocery store). The bed was extremely comfortable and the place was fully stocked with kitchen appliances, towels, etc. Of note: - This would be a pretty cramped space for four people. I definitely recommend it for two or three. - The dining table and chairs are pretty uncomfortable for work. If you need a work-from-home setup, this might not be ideal - This property is centrally located but the area itself feels more residential Thanks for a great stay!
