There was no elevator which was difficult with luggage. It was a nonsmoking property but we had to switch rooms because someone had been smoking. There were also smells of someone smoking marijuana.

There is no water to drink available at this hotel. No water fountains or water bottles for sale. The bathroom was so small that it was uncomfortable for an adult to use. The shower felt claustrophobic as the shower curtain kept sticking to me because there wasn’t enough space to stand comfortably. The water pressure was very strong, which was good, but the water was so chlorinated that it made me sneeze in the shower. The parking lot was also very small and difficult to get into and out of.

Very disappointing stay. The room smelled bad, the bedsheets were dirty, and the towels were unclean as well. Basic hygiene was not maintained. Would not recommend this hotel.

As expected but don’t expect more than average for the price. The staff was fantastic. The breakfast is not self serve, and is very limited. The rooms are updated but not renovated. They are clean and the king room is huge.

I picked te Econo Lodge Metro in Arlington, Virginia because of its convenient location to the Stae Theater in Falls church for a New Year's Eve show. 10 minute walk/ 2 minute drive. Good deal for under $100. Room spotless and large, including decent size bathroom. Best shower I can remember in a hotel, with good pressure and hot water temp. 24 hour ready made coffee and tea in lobby. As a bonus, small breakfast snack. No complaints and total satisfaction. Great bang for te buck. Look forward to repeat stay for next year's New Year's Eve show or any other State Theater concerts before then.
