Hotel under renovations. Continual noise during the day . Some of the staff were unhelpful. One in particular was extremely rude. Will not be staying here again .

This was a gift to my daughter and Son-in Law to stay in the great Shirlington area. It is there anniversary on the 23rd of April. They had a fantastic time

Cute Hotel

The hotel was under some construction, but we were informed of that prior to the stay. It really was a great hotel and in a fun and quaint village. My two cents...if you are not going to clean the room daily, which is fine, garbage still needs to be emptied. When you have a family, we bring back food, make coffee, etc, there were only two small garbage cans in the bathrooms, they need to be emptied daily. Extra towels would be nice as well.

Refresh - Vast Improvement!

The property is just completing a renovation. The rooms were redone and were great. Comfort, features, all were great! Friendly staff. The refresh really created an excellent location.

We picked this property because it was one of the cheapest pet friendly hotel we can find in the area. I stayed at other brands before but was never told to sign an additional pet policy agreement upon arrival. On our third or fourth day of stay this guy Mike at the front stopped us and asked me to fill out this pet form. He asked for my last name

So, we stayed 4 days, and we requested housekeeping the 1st day after arrival, which they said they did not offer service except for every other day unless if you request it. We were requesting it!… but were then told it was too late (close to 5pm). So we expected housekeeping to come the next day, but they did not and the following day they did not either… The hotel is under major construction & mayhem… loud noises between 8am and almost 6pm daily… when booking (1.5 months before) we were told all construction would be complete prior to April 3, so we assumed this to be true… sadly it was not ! Any item we requested: xtra pillows, Kleenex and eventually toilet paper (since our room was not serviced), we were told that we had to come downstairs to the front desk to pick up ?!?!?! Really??? All this while guys w hard hats are in the elevators (which were covered with cardboard for material transportation). The day before we left, all drainage of water (sink, toilet and especially the shower) was not working, so a shower meant flooding the bathroom because it would not drain. The sink had the same issue… all likely because of construction going on… So not a great experience, though it was looking like I was gonna be really nice when we left, and the surrounding shops and neighborhood was very nice and walkable…

There was construction going on in the hotel Monday through Saturday about 830 am to 530 pm. I only found this out after I checked in. When construction was being done (jackhammers) it was very loud and disruptive. The hotel also looked like a construction site.

Construction was annoying Saturday and on the elevator. One elevator was closed. If this had been advertised, I would have chosen a different hotel. However, the bed was super comfy and very quiet all night. Staff was friendly enough. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

My Arlington Go-To

This is my go-to hotel in Arlington. It's clean, quiet, comfortable, and surrounded by great dining, shopping, etc. As of 3/2025, it's in the middle of a significant renovation; be aware that during that, several amenities are out of commission. Given that, they could loosen up a little on minimum stays or throw in some extra Hilton Honors points. Overall still a great place.
