Hotel is very accommodating and is very affordable in the DC and Alexandria Area. Staff here is very friendly I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area.

Great room. Well-appointed with a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. Large television and plenty of room. The walk-in shower had excellent water pressure. The hotel is in walking distance of several restaurants and a Harris Teeter grocery store. I recommend the Carlyle.

Front staff are hit or miss. Kitchen staff is a lot more welcoming. Narrow new showers with rain style head and trickles a little water other shower head has more pressure. Shuttle drivers prompt & professional. Asst. Manager not responsive to inquiries.
