Love the super friendly staff. They really could not be nicer and more helpful. The hotel offers many thoughtful amenities, like complementary bike use, fresh water in the lobby and other perks. It is close to the Capitol. Room was very spacious. The decor was worn and the hallways could use some vacuuming.

Came into DC for a Festival. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in early and sort out all our stuff before the event. Valet was also so nice and grab our stuff out in the pouring rain from our car. Will definitely be staying at this hotel if I’m ever back in DC!

Front lobby Staff including housekeeping Staff are friendly and show to enjoy working with people. Hotel is only 2 traffic lights away, 2 minute walking distance from Union Station for trains and Hop On bus tours. Continental breakfast is good. I only suggest vending machines for a quick snack/refreshment on each floor hotel. Thank you.

I enjoyed my stay at the George. Surprises included a wine tasting upon arrival along with light breakfasts in the lobby. A great location for subway and train travel.

On Par

Hotel was on par with expectations of a Kimpton property. Clean rooms, comfy beds and good service. Location was fantastic- short walk to Union Station. My only gripe was there were a few rowdy homeless people around hotel heckling patrons and one sleeping in between the front doors. I wish hotel could have done something- but may be out of their control.
