Renovated in 2015 and beautifully decorated, this separate entrance carriage house has hardwood floors, high ceilings and everything you’ll need for your stay on the Hill. The bedroom has a four-posted queen-size bed, dresser, marble vanity and a cozy armchair. The French doors open onto a secret garden, the perfect place to enjoy breakfast. The bathroom is done in creamy Travertine with a large tiled shower. The great room has a day bed with a hidden pull-out trundle bed, two arm chairs, a ladder bar and a flat screen TV, and a multi-function antique table: Tucked into an alcove it’s the ideal space to eat a sandwich, work on your laptop or charge your electronics. At mealtime pull it away from the wall and pop up the sides for a table that seats six. Let us know how many bistro dining chairs you’ll need. Along the back wall the fully-outfitted kitchen has a full-size, 4 burner stove, sink, and 5 ft. refrigerator. Off-street parking for one car is included. There is no washer/dryer in the apartment but a laundromat is 7 blocks away.

Great location! Pet Friendly! Easy to find as long as you follow owners instructions. Check in process super easy too. This historic property is very charming, the neighborhood is quiet and safe. It is walkable to most landmarks, and restaurants. Also, there is a bus stop just on the other side of the park so you can just leave your personal vehicle in the off street parking which is a HUGE bonus to this property. The private courtyard is a beautiful garden oasis in the city to sit and unwind after a day of sightseeing. The owners are attentive and easy to reach for any issues that might arise. I would definitely book this property again. 5 Stars.

We had a wonderful stay here. The carriage house is absolutely charming and opens onto a back garden that feels like a secret sanctuary. Everything was clean and comfortable, exactly as described. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to all the sites around the Capitol, and the neighborhood felt very safe, so returning by foot in the evening (with a child) was not a concern. Having a dedicated parking space meant we did not have to worry about moving the car and instead could relax and enjoy our time in the city. We would definitely return.

The location was great and the free parking was a bonus. It felt like a very safe neighborhood and you could easily walk to sites on Capitol Hill. The house was clean and the owner was easy to reach when we had a question. We highly recommend this rental and would stay here again!

Excellent location

Being in the neighborhood was perfect for dog walks and biking. The city is such a great place for biking around and being able to park our car off street and leave it there was amazing. Accommodations were good, large shower with good pressure. Friendly residents and safe, fast internet. AC in both rooms was a plus.

Great Place!

We so enjoyed our stay! They neighborhood was just close enough to walk to anything we needed and the garden in the back was perfect for resting in after a long day. The beds were comfortable, it was clean, a little smaller than I anticipated but there was plenty of space for my husband, myself and 2 teens to have room. Would definitely recommend.
