Typisch Grossbritanien

Das typische englische Vorstadtleben im Touristenformat bietet diese Ferienwohnung in Watford, eine Stunde vom Zentrum London entfernt. Ich und meine zwei Teenies waren vom Reihenhausstil und dem modernen "Miss Marple" Ambiente entzückt. Der große Fernseher mit dem gemütlichen, ausziehbaren Sofa war Lieblingsplatz und ist Zentrum der zweistöckigen Wohnung. Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Nur Mikrowelle und Esstisch gibt es nicht, haben wir auch nur zum Frühstück vermisst. Kuschelteppich und viele Kissen sind traumhaft. Warmwasserversorgung und Heizung ist über Therme selbst einstellbar (Anruf bei dem Anbieter), praktisch, um bei kühlem Regenwetter die Kleidung und Schuhe zu trocken. Da macht auch die Nutzung der Waschmaschine Sinn. Angeboten wird Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Seife und andere Reinigungs- und Hygienemittel, alles im Preis enthalten. Gefallen hat uns die ruhige Wohngegend mit englischem Stadtpark vor der Haustür. Bushaltestelle ist 10 min entfernt. Einkaufen konnten wir im 20 min Fussweg entfernten Shoppingcenter und Salisbury. Für den kurzen Aufenthalt, um die Levesden Studios zu besuchen und gleichzeitig England von seiner entspannten und schönsten Seite zu erleben - TOP!
