Steps to bayside beach

Shorefront Cottage is a single family cottage that is part of an eight unit association.
Close to everything you want on a vacation including beaches, town center, galleries, bike trails and just a short drive to Provincetown.
Parking for 2 cars, fireplace and outdoor shower. Close to town, restaurants and supermarket.

The perfect setting for a beach front vacation. Enjoy morning coffee on the waterfront patio, walk pristine Burton Bay beach at sunset. Ideal for friends, couples, families and kids. Quiet and safe beach just steps away. Close to center of town for restaurants, galleries and shops.

Newly furnished including new beds and mattresses, dining table and chairs, lamps, area rug, tables and art. All new Crate and Barrel cookware and serve ware. All new outdoor furnishings.
New paint throughout.

Our Favorite Place

This was our 3rd year staying at Michael’s property and we’ve already booked our return trip for next year. We look so forward to how relaxing and serene the location is. Our young children love exploring the beach area. It is close to town and other sights. It’s the perfect amount of space for our family!

Loved our visit!

We had a great, peaceful late fall stay here! It was a little cold in the rooms that didn’t have the direct heating unit and we had some issues with getting the wifi and television connected but Michael was very responsive and helpful, we appreciated it!

We had a wonderful time at Michael’s cottage. The location is excellent with amazing views of the bay and surprisingly private & quiet. The fireplace was a nice addition for our October weekend. Michael was prompt in answering our questions. This was our second stay. Will be back

Amazing Cape Cod Trip!!!

We had a spectacular stay. Right on the water which we really enjoyed. Very comfortable. Wonderful views. We enjoyed the outside shower as well.

Perfect location!!!

Our family has been coming to this cottage for years and absolutely love it! The location is perfect!!! Just steps away from the beach and amazing views. It’s so easy to make a cup of coffee and talk a walk on the beach in the morning. Easy to sit on the porch and watch the kids play on the beach. The owner is extremely responsive and helpful. The property is clean and very well maintained. They’ve made great updates to it as well!

Lovely stay in a lovely spot

The location of this cottage is amazing and our family had a great time. The cottage is stylish, but simple, as classic Cape Cod cottages are, and the proximity to the beach was simply breathtaking. Our kids were in heaven at the beach every day. A truly special spot.

Always Perfect

Our family travels a lot and there is just something about this cottage and Wellfleet that is so special and relaxing to us. We are already looking forward to returning for our 3rd stay next season. We love the area and this cottage suits our needs perfectly.

Magical Location

The location of this cottage is absolutely magical, from sunrise to sunset. The cottage is waterfront, with sweeping views of the bay and the gorgeous marshy stream that flows into it. Lots of wildlife on and around the beach: mating horseshoe crabs, a fox hunting at dusk, a great blue heron, and a great white heron further up in the marsh. We were there in May, on a chilly-ish weekend, but the cottage heated up nicely from the sun (and also has heat). We had an issue with no hot water, but Michael was so responsive and eager to make amends. The price is high, but if you're looking for a gorgeous spot, this place won't disappoint. FYI there are 4 or 5 identical cottages behind this one, which were empty when we were there, so I'm not sure if it would feel crowded in the height of summer if you're looking for a more isolated experience? There is also an aquaculture business of sorts up the beach a bit--not noisy and not a deal-breaker by any means--probably better for the environment than traditional methods? It didn't take away from our stay.

Dreamy bayside retreat

We loved staying in this stylish, clean cottage. The cost was more than we would typically spend for lodging but we felt that we got more than our money's worth for the richness of our experience in both the comfort and location of the cottage. Our family could step out the door to explore the wildlife, wetlands, and tides, or enjoy the stunning, dynamic views while cozy indoors. Other pluses were comfortable beds, clean bathroom & cottage, and cookware/tableware in great condition.

Best Location Possible

This cottage is steps from a lovely bay beach that seems almost private. The area is quiet and has a nice neighborhood feel. Nice walks abound. The cottage looks directly out to the water and beach access is just a few steps from the front door. The new owner has done a very nice job to spruce up this sweet cottage, with new furniture, comfy mattresses, and fresh paint. Nice outdoor shower. The owner couldn't have been more responsive and accommodating to our needs. If you want a simple beach vacation for a couple or small family, this is an ideal spot.

Perfect cottage with amazing beach and responsive owner

We could not have had a better week . This cozy cottage was perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. Beautiful and expansive views of the beach right from the kitchen table . All of the comforts of home . Steps from a peaceful beach with wonderful tides . The owner was very responsive . Would highly recommend this rental.
