We had a 2 night stay, for 3 people. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. It had a bar fridge and tea/coffee making. The bathroom was fine but a little dated. Reception and housekeeping we great. The hotel is in an excellent location with the Main Street at its foot and a short walk to the waterfront.

This was an excellent hotel. We had a pleasant room on the 22nd floor. Large comfy bed, clean room, and a large hot shower. Getting to the wharf was a breeze when we used a special lift to leave out the back.

Good points: very well located in city centre, airport buses serve Lambton Quay outside. Plenty of nearby places to eat. Rooms are clean, well sized and bathrooms well appointed. Desk staff helpful and friendly. Indifferent points: quirky room lighting with dimmer controls instead of individual bedside lights. Room cleaning erratic, "please make up room" signs don't confer any priority. Could do with: room safes, leaving valuables with the front desk is very passé. Would stay there again.
