We paid our room when book and had to pay when check in. The room number should be printed on the receipt, but the printer didn't work, so we don't know where is the room. We got told to park at parking No.1 where someone already parked. The on site manager didn't help us at all.

Positives: Value for money, location (walkable to main tourist areas), has a lift, the staff were helpful on the phone, self-check-in was straightforward, the bed was comfortable, tea and coffee were provided, and the bathroom was clean. Negatives: the cups provided were dirty, no spoons to stir hot drinks, and the bathroom walls are made of opaque glass (not fully private). The carpet meeting the wall edges was dusty, and the reception was often unmanned during operating service hours. Other things of note for our room: The TV standby light was very bright (difficult to darken the room), and it was not immediately obvious how to close the blinds (switch-operated). The phone had a message light on, and I could not disable it.

The bathroom door is of frosted glass, providing no privacy for the person using it. There is no basic cutlery in the room, and no staff are available until the next morning to help out.

The hotel room had a perfectly good TV but no service and as an international guest I couldn’t watch free to air TV. The room service only occurred every 4 days which I was not expecting. This was not communicated when I booked the room The “girl” in the reception desk was unable to provide me with a receipt at check out. The app I had booked with suggested I needed to talk to the hotel at check out to get a receipt but this needed to happen some time after check out and only via email.
