It was tidy and in a good location. I accidently booked this Quest instead of Quest on Terrace where I normally stay. I was a bit annoyed that they took a bond from me and then took some time to refund it. Other than that it was a decent stay and quite a unique place.

Parking in Wellington overall is challenging. The Quest parking garage is very small, worried I would hit my car on the curb or ramp going up and down. Overall, apartment is cozy but the bathroom was extremely crappy/tiny.

The property was a good size and well laid out for two singles travelling together. The location was quiet, but that means that restaurants and groceries were an av. walk away (took uber back). It was an older apartment, a bit worn but the bonus was the washing machine in our apartment. Communication was fast.

Comfortable, won’t go back!

Room was comfortable, good size. Beds were comfortable. Floors were very sticky and not clean. We stayed on a weekend and they don’t do room cleaning on a Sunday, so we didn’t get fresh towels or our coffee replenished - if they aren’t going to service the room they should at least leave enough coffee for two days. Parking was really tight and the lift made concerning sounds.

We arrived late at night and in the following morning when we put the pulled the overlay off the bed to straighten it there was a brown strain underneath. As we were in a hurry to get out we didn't investigate too much. However, when we returned, again late at night and pulled back the sheets to get into bed, they had remade the bed and this time the stain was on the inside and it would have been touching skin. On ınvestigation it was excrement. They couldn't have cleaned the sheets after the previous guests and just remade the bed, not only for us as new guests but then again the following morning, how disgusting. When brought to their attention the following morning the reply was we will get back to you and nothing more. Appalling. If I could give a zero rating I would and if I hadn't paid in advance I wouldn't have paid either. For me it demonstrates a lack of attention and care.

It was a terrible stay. My only window faced the atrium, which is still technically indoors. The design of the atrium caused sound to echo and amplify even the smallest noise. As a result, I had to keep both the window and door closed, making the room extremely stuffy with no airflow. The portable air conditioner was preset to 19°C, which was uncomfortably cold for me, and the setting couldn’t be changed. On top of that, it was unbearably noisy—it felt like sleeping next to an engine. I had no choice but to turn it off. I requested a room change to one with a window facing the street, but my request was refused with unconvincing excuses, such as the rooms not being clean. I definitely won’t be coming back. Staying here felt like living in a basement.
