Clean, great amenities!

The room we were in looked new. The amenities were fabulous. We had a full kitchenette and a washer and dryer. Bed was super comfy, close to restaurants. Only downside was we had to park on the street.

The hotel was clean, but the rooms were small except for the upgraded ones. It was in a good location. However, they did not provide bottled water or real coffee except freeze dried in the rooms only.

The hotel room is very comfortable except the bathroom is so tiny that makes it awkward to move around inside. Also there is very little storage space in the room except a small closet for hanging clothes. All in all is a good hotel though.

Wonderful stay. I was upgraded to the penthouse a little wasted on just me. But definitely a great option for a large group wanting lots of space. TRYP is my go to for business visits. Clean modern and convenient.

The staff were very courteous and friendly. The location is excellent, a couple blocks from the waterfront, Te Papa museum, theatres, great food, but also quiet. We were super happy (and surprised) at how quiet the rooms were.

TRYP by Wyndham Wellington on Tory Street is absolutely adorable and perfectly located in the city. We loved the convenience of street parking, which made it easy to offload all our stuff. The rooms were well put together with lots of convenient features. Staying over New Year's Eve was a delight. We could easily turn a corner for dinner and then stroll to Wellington's celebrations, surrounded by great eateries and bars. We took a quick Uber ride to another location, and everything was seamless. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the vibe!

Perfect design ethic for our taste and well set up rooms with all that we need - love the communal breakfast area downstairs. Easy central city walking to everywhere and aside from parking challenges, this is our favourite hotel for a Wellington get away!

We had a great stay here - the property is centrally located, nicely designed and has great amenities. The check-in process was smooth and we were happy overall. The only comment is on parking - if you are driving, the hotel does not have a car park and parking in central Wellington on a weekend was an absolute nightmare for us as we were unfamiliar with the city. I ended up finding 70 Tory Street Garage which was a 4 minute walk from the hotel, as the the closer car park “Care Park” only accepts payment via their app and the app is not available to international customers. Tory Street was only $20NZD for overnight parking and seemed safe and secure. The hotel providing more information on this in advance would’ve been useful!

Had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed in a suite with a washer/dryer which was convenient. However, it did take much longer to complete a load of laundry than I expected, about 3 hours. The hotel is perfectly located in the city, only a few minutes from the waterfront and many restaurants. The continental breakfast was also very good. Overall, it was a great experience.

Right in the heart of the CBD, the hotel has a great location, near dozens of restaurants and the waterfront and the national museum. The staff was friendly and helpful and gave us a good rate when we had to book an additional night due to all ferries being cancelled. The room was spacious and the bed comfy and had a large screen TV. The bathroom was tight but worked fine with plenty of hot water and nice towels.
