Guests love the privacy of the location and the traditional Cape Cod charm. We are situated on a quiet cul-de-sac across the street from Pleasant Beach. WiFi, Cable/Roku streaming (Netflix, Amazon video, Disney+. Paramount+) and phone access are provided. Free parking - no beach sticker needed!

Steps Away is a traditional New England-style cottage. The front patio enjoys a small cottage garden with wild roses, spirea, honeysuckle, daylilies, Russian sage and fountain grass. Grab your sundowner and relax - you're in Cape Cod!
The cottage was originally built as a 1-bedroom cape with a picture window facing the ocean. A two-bedroom addition with a bay window was added later, forming two attached but separate & secluded suites. Each has a private entrance, separate yard and BBQ areas with picnic tables and charcoal grills. This listing is for the Sea Breeze Suite, the 1 Bedroom cape with kitchen, full bath, living room, eating area, outdoor shower, outdoor grilling area and picnic table and front raised patio with ocean view.

The 600 sq. ft. Sea Breeze Suite has one bedroom and sleeps up to 3. The bedroom has a queen bed. The living area has a picture window with ocean view and contains a pull-out sleep sofa, dining area, TV with Roku Streambar (Netflix, Amazon video, Disney+, Paramount+, Peacock) and decorative fireplace. There’s an enclosed outdoor shower perfect for rinsing off after the beach. The galley kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishware and silverware. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, range, refrigerator and drip coffee maker. Your favorite spot may be the raised patio with ocean views of sailboats gliding by - ideal for unwinding.

Steps Away is located on a private cul-de-sac across the street from Pleasant Beach. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful.

There are two spaces on the cul-de-sac directly in front of the cottage. No beach sticker needed!

The cottage is situated on a 1/4 acre, just steps from the warm water of Nantucket Sound. We are the second house from the beach on a private cul-de-sac on Pleasant Road Beach. Our guests have access to the beach across the quiet road and up through our deeded right-of-way path. It’s a convenient and easy 1-minute walk to Pleasant Beach, ideal for families with children. The beach has clean, soft, golden sand with gentle waves. It's the 'warm' side of the Cape without the dramatic low tides of the Bay side.

Pleasant Beach is a public, family-oriented beach with approximately 100+ yards of natural shoreline. In addition to sunbathing, swimming, shell collecting and boogie-boarding, you can also stroll the water’s edge for approximately a mile in either direction. One can even walk past the breakwater to swim across the Herring River into Dennisport and back. The breeze is great for kite-flying and listening to the surf in the evening.

Steps Away Cottage is close to everything you'll need, but out of the mainstream resort traffic. Except for the grocery store, you never need to leave. If you desire more activity, we are minutes to restaurants, bike trails, golf, tennis, kayaking and more. There are nearby activities for children such as the trampolines, race cars, baseball cages and bumper boats.

Take a ferry and explore Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket. Ride the bike trail from Dennis to Wellfleet’s Cape Cod National Sea Shore. Take a road trip to Provincetown to savor the many shops, restaurants and eclectic atmosphere. Don’t forget to stop at the fascinating shops and open-air concerts in Chatham’s historic center.

There are many casual and fine dining restaurants nearby. You can choose from pizza, clam shacks and pub fare on the casual side or outstanding dining in nearby Italian, seafood, or classic New England restaurants.
Please note, upon booking you will receive a link to our rental agreement, which much be signed in order to finalize your reservation. We are happy to share that we do not charge an up-front cleaning fee in order to provide value to our guests. We do expect guests to leave the property clean as they had found it. A simple and reasonable check-out list will be provided to you. Guest will be charged for any special or unreasonable cleaning needed.

No candles, smoking or open flames, except for the outdoor barbeque grill.

Parties and events are not allowed. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood with no loud music or noise allowed after 10pm.
