No phone, no tv, shower with either cold or scalding water-had to keep turning it off and on. Had to run tub for kids so they wouldn’t burn themselves in shower. Beds only passable-lumpy. Common rooms good and restaurant was ok. Shortage of staff it seemed.

Needed a place to crash for a music festival. This fit the bill. Log panelling but no tv. Why would you want to watch tv when whales are frequently seen in the channel offshore? The lodge is positioned up on a hill overlooking the channel and the bays of Fundy and St Mary’s beyond. The restaurant has great food. Be aware that Briar Island has fog more often than not.

The Lodge has obviously been newly upgraded and looks good. The bathroom door didn't close properly and there was only one roll of toilet paper. Luckily we didn't need more! The tap in the sink was dirty, only the handle had been wiped. There were no cups/mugs for the coffee/tea that was available in the room, and no creamers had we been able to make some. The restaurant was nice, the service was very good too.

Our stay was wonderful! We chose Brier Island Lodge for our stay as we had an early whale watching tour (which was phenomenal) and the lodge exceeded our expectations. Staff were friendly and accommodating, dining on site is a bonus and the rooms were clean and quaint. We were able to leave the island with a sense of peace and a desire to go back.

Nice place to stay on the island. Has a restaurant attached. Lunch/dinner meals are pretty good, our breakfast was terrible but they discounted it for us due to the poor quality. Have stayed here multiple times and will probably stay again. Just don’t expect much for breakfast.

It was great to find a nice place to stay, convenient to the ferry and the whale watching cruise. It was an easy trip the morning we went on the boat and very convenient to all the local sights. Great restaurant, nice clean rooms.
