Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und geräumig. In der Waschküche konnten wir unsere Wäsche waschen. Das Motel ist zentral gelegen. Gerne wieder.

Friendly efficient staff from the reception to the cleaner. The room was quiet due to the concrete walls and individual roof space. A real bonus. The room was clean and beds had lovely quality sheets. However what would set the motel to a higher standard would be a deep clean. In particular the old vinyl flooring needs upgrading or at the least a deep clean. The windows are also an area needing better care, they were smeared all over. The shower was clean although using painted wood to finish the corners isn't suitable as it harbours mould and paint was peeling off. The skirtings in the bathroom area are MDF and have swelled up, it wouldn't be a big job to replace these. The owners have tried to upgrade, perhaps they have more plans in the future. Our room did not live up to the photos in the listing. However, we were pleased to find the Burwood Manor Motel during such a busy time in Whanganui (Christmas and The Cemetery Circuit Race). We stayed for 3 nights in a family room.

Maybe the Motel looks a wee bit tired and in need of a spruce up. Not so the Hosts. They would be the most welcoming and obliging hosts i have encountered. I would definitely stay here again.

This is my third stay at Burwood Manor. I have liked this for overnight but on my longer stays I've been let down by room servicing not topping up all the conveniences like toilet paper and milk etc adequately- such small cost items should not be a source of dissatisfaction and an embarrasment or inconvenience to ask for them ( this was last Christmas holidays) however for an overnight stay it is always very good. I hope to see this improve because I would like to stay there again when I visit Whanganui in the future. Comfortable beds also are good.

Motel is dated, but was good value for money for what we needed (2A+2C). The rooms were clean and tidy. Although a little drafty near the window, the heatpump and heater did the trick and we stayed warm during our stay. The bathroom was immaculate which was a real plus. I've been in 5 star hotels where the bathrooms weren't that clean. Definitely bonus points in my book.
