Lawned garden with patio and garden furniture. Shared 20-acre natural, unspoilt grounds. Parking for 1 car. 1 dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (working farm). Wheelchair access. Ground floor facilities. No smoking. Maddy Cart House is a studio set in the grounds of Maddy House Farm which dates back to the 15th century. It is surrounded by over 20 acres of its own fields, with breathtaking views across the moorland towards Castleton. The Heritage Coast of Yorkshire and Whitby are easily accessed, and you can take a leisurely journey through the Esk Valley. Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington are a liitle further. A must when visiting this area are the smugglers coves of Robin Hood’s Bay, Staithes and Runswick Bay. Historic homes and castles such as Uncomb Park, Nunnington Hall and Castle Howard are all within easy driving distance. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Maddy Cart House can be booked together with The Old Barn (W42436) to accommodate up to 6 guests.

This property is in a very quiet location, its not easy to find the first time! Difficult for people to contact you, which can be a good thing!!
