I booked this hotel because of my stay at their Prince George hotel. The staff on duty was nice and the room was clean but the condition of the overall hotel could use a little refresh. Also if you are traveling with a pet definitely confirm their fees. Because I paid $15 per pet in Prince George I thought that would apply here. I have two small dogs and I paid $30 per dog for a total of $60 in Whitehorse (Canadian dollar). My dogs stay cost pretty much as mine.

Building is in awful shape. Smelled of weed in the hallways. Bed felt like it was a 25yr old spring mattress and was uneven(not a flat bed) lol… the toiletries in bathroom were used/opened bottles. Parking is trash. Like 12 spots in front… then rest in back, and u half to walk around the entire building with ur stuff. Insane. The price was insane for what I got, I should’ve slept in my truck. Never again.

It’s the cheapest hotel in town but still over $100 a night so I expect it to be cleaner, it was mainly the bathroom that was a bit gross; questionable hair on the toilet seat and old tooth paste on the counter, etc. Most annoying thing though was that the shower head was almost a whole head shorter than me, I’m 5ft 10”, tall but not tall enough that I should have this problem, so I had to do some uncomfortable backbending to wash my hair properly. I will say that I love that they have laminated wood floor instead of the gross carpet I’m used to.

It is shelter for the night.

This place is just about the minimum you need to rest. I would recommend bring Lysol or cleaning spray just for mental sanity to spray bed but we didn’t have bed bug issues leaving. Also bring shower shoes if you’re weird with feet in the shower if it’s not super clean like me. Staff was super nice though! And they had plenty of park in back for trailer!

The beds were clean, but the room and property itself was dilapidated. The heater in the room did not work so it was quite cold. Staff brought a portable heater, but it did not work either. There were no blankets on the beds only a sheet. Staff brought one extra blanket.

There was a shooting outside our bedroom. It is not safe and in a very shady part of town. The name said river view… there was no river view. So we decided to pack and not stay.

Overall, really poor facility, many drunk customers begging for money inside the hotel. Room had clean sheets but outdated furniture, boxsprings were damaged... I felt like I was staying in a Third World Country... Shabby if you know what I mean. Shameful for a Canadian Hotel to look like this ???

This is probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I will say the bed is clean. However, the heat is not working. The place is really rundown. The locks on the door are not safe at all. The deadbolt barely locks and no other option. If I hadn’t been on the road 15hrs I would have checked out. The check in guy was nice and efficient.

I didn't quite feel safe in the area, especially walking back to the hotel around 10 pm with my family. A man who was also living in the same hotel tried to harrass us and passed some objectionable comments at my daughter, and engage physically with my husband. In terms of cleanliness, it is very poor standard but I was not expecting a lot anyway at this price. Location wise, it's at a very convenient location in downtown.
