An Unforgettable Stay

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was truly one of the best experiences I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how well-maintained the property was. The staff greeted me with warmth and professionalism, making the check-in process seamless and easy. The room was an absolute delight – spacious, clean, and with a design that balanced modern luxury with a homely touch. The highlight for me, however, was the balcony that led directly to the hotel’s stunning swimming pool. Imagine waking up and stepping out onto your balcony, the fresh air, the gentle sound of water, and the view of the sparkling pool right in front of you. It was the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy a refreshing dip whenever I wanted. What really set this place apart was the overall ambiance. There was a sense of peace and tranquility that made the hotel feel like a personal retreat. Firstly the pre-booked transport forgot to pick me up. The local airport closes at 4pm, I had to stressfully arrange another transfer as taxi’s do not do trips to the airport. The room overall was very warn and felt like it needed a good amount of work to bring it back to a 4* standard. Broken shutters, rail fell off and the overall room felt well used with chips and dents in the paintwork. Furniture also was tired and needed a good cleaning. I stayed for 3 nights and was happy when i left. Staff were friendly and the shuttle was great to get to Airlie beach as the walk was 15/20 minutes in humid conditions or rain

Nice apartment hotel

Mirage is a really nice apartment hotel with big pool areas and a gym. Their restaurant has a bit limited menu and unfortunately the breakfast buffet was very basic. Even it was included in the price, we skipped it on the 2nd morning and made our own. Apartment itself was huge and very well equipped, except we were wondering why the large balcony had only 1 sun bed for a 2 bedroom apartment. As a location this is really nice. You can go for walks along the coast line, and its easy to take the bus to Airlie Beach centre as well.

Really nice location, good pool, very clean hotel rooms, cetin aspects a little dated or in need of TLC but did not detract from our stay. The buffet breakfast is well worth it. We walked in to Airlie beach most days along the coastal path. Trips to the reef and Whitehaven beach were organised by reception.

Great location. Approximately 10 min from the downtown area and less than 5 from a grocery store. Pool was beautiful. The adult pool was too shaded. Gym was small but adequate. The breakfast was great!!! The property was beautiful and the staff could not have been nicer.

Our room was good but I felt for the money I paid the condition of the room could have been better In the 10 day we were there our room was cleaned once, the gym never had towels or drinking cups and most of the equipment was old or not in use, could never speak to reception in the morning it was closed didn’t open till 8.30 Next time we visit will be staying closer to town

Beautiful corner top floor suite plenty of room for what we wanted. My kids loved the private plunge pool and I loved the friendliness of the staff. The views were amazing and the on site restaurant was delicious.
