We enjoyed our stay. Would definitely rebook again. The breakfast was okay. The room was small for four but we made it work. The only negative thing I would say would be once you get off the elevator, there was such a bad smell that carried into the hallway. The smell was there everyday.

Lage: Die Lage ist gut, wenn man den Hauptbahnhof braucht. Man ist schnell da, schnell weg. Das bedeutet aber auch, dass man an einer Hauptverkehrsader logiert. Wenn man zum Schlachthof oder zur Brita-Arena will, ist es ebenfalls praktisch. ​Zimmer: Typisch B&B: klein, sauber, funktional. Man hat ein Bett, eine Dusche, einen Fernseher – mehr nicht. Die Einrichtung ist pragmatisch, ohne jeglichen Charme. Aber um eine Nacht zu schlafen, ist es völlig ausreichend und das Nötigste (Klimaanlage, WLAN) funktioniert. ​Service und Aufenthalt: Der Check-in und Check-out laufen oft schnell ab, manchmal auch über den Automaten. Das Personal ist professionell, aber der Kontakt ist meist minimal. Es ist ein Hotel für die effiziente Übernachtung. ​Fazit (ohne Frühstück): Es ist ein mittelmäßiges Hotel im Sinne von „es tut, was es soll, und kostet nicht die Welt“. Es bietet eine praktische, saubere und unkomplizierte Basis in Bahnhofsnähe. Wer nur ein Dach über dem Kopf braucht und keinerlei Wert auf Atmosphäre oder Extras legt, wird nicht enttäuscht, aber auch nicht begeistert sein. Eine solide 3 von 5 Sternen, wenn man die Ansprüche entsprechend niedrig hält. Man bekommt, wofür man bezahlt.

Ich war in einem Zimmer, das zur Straßenseite hinausging. Das Fenster hatte keine Isolierung, weswegen man wirklich alles von der Straße hörte. Und leider ist die Hauptstraße auch nachts gut und laut befahren. Zum Frühstück würde ich für das Geld lieber 100 m weiter laufen und beim Bäcker frühstücken; da hat man deutlich mehr Auswahl. Höchst unfreundlicher Mitarbeiter am Empfang. Hotel ist nicht 24 h besetzt. Kontaktloses Einchecken funktioniert aber prima. Für die Türöffnung ist ein Automat am Eingang. (online eincheckten geht auch) Zimmer zweckmäßig. Kleines Regal, 4 Fächer, 6-8 Kleiderbügel, 4 Haken an der Wand. Fön, Duschbad, Seife vorhanden. Kein Schminkspiegel. Zusätzlicher Haken an der Tür für Waschtasche wäre hilfreich. Bett super (ich bin da gesundheitsbedingt sehr empfindlich bzgl. Hüften), Kopfkissen und Decke ebenso – leicht und angenehm gefüllt, ohne zu steif zu sein. Leider ist der Sonnenschutz etwas zu kurz, so dass sehr früh morgens das Zimmer etwas hell ist (trotz benutzter Schlafmaske etwas störend). Staubsauger vor 7 Uhr im Gang unterwegs - trotz Ohropax ist man da wach. Ärgerlich. Abreisezeit erst 12 Uhr (auschecken aber nicht nötig) Eigentlich hatte ich ausschlafen wollen. Staubsaugebedingt früh genug wach wollte ich, was ich sonst geschäftlich unterwegs nicht unbedingt immer mache, frühstücken. Gehe 20 min. vor 10 Uhr (Ende Frühstückszeit) mit meinem Kaffeebecher, den immer dabei ist, runter. Keiner am Empfang. Gehe zum Kaffeeautomaten. Neben mir ein Mann am Buffet, den ICH grüße. Nicht andersrum, wie man es bei einem Hotelmitarbeiter kennt und gewöhnt ist. Sein 1.Satz: Kaffee mitnehmen ist nicht erlaubt! Ich: Ich möchte ihn nicht mitnehmen. Er: warum dann der Becher? Ich: Weil er nicht kalt werden soll. Er: Ihre Zimmernummer? Nannte ich. Er geht, um gleich darauf zurückzukommen:

Wen Lärm nicht stört...

Bei einem Hotel an einer mehrspurigen Straße erwarte ich selbstverständlich Schallschutzfenster, die den Straßenlärm auf ein Minimum reduzieren. Davon kann in diesem Hotel keine Rede sein - da wurde vom Management der Hotelkette sträflich gespart.
