I stayed at Majestic City Suites Curaçao (Jan 19–23, 2026) after a bad experience at another hotel and unfortunately encountered more issues here. Check-in was scheduled for 3:00 p.m. I completed paperwork around 2:50 p.m. and was told the room would be ready shortly. After returning past 3:20 p.m., the room was still not ready and no timeframe was given. Staff blamed my “last-minute booking,” yet another guest arriving around 3:30 p.m. was told the same thing, indicating an operational problem. This was especially difficult as I was traveling with my 82-year-old relative. Front desk professionalism was also lacking. Tina, who was present during the check-in delay, later failed to acknowledge or assist me when I requested beach towels—no greeting or response. Another staff member had to step in. This made me uncomfortable raising other concerns, including an issue with the shower drain. I also observed a roach in the hallway, raising cleanliness concerns. I have video documentation supporting these issues. Overall, poor communication, unprofessional service, and sanitation concerns made this stay far below expectations. I would not recommend this property without significant improvements.

We were provided with clean towels everyday, staff also cleaned the room daily and the front desk staff was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again for a budget stay. The elevator was always working, the hotel was also walking distance from the Curacao and Dushi sign , restaurants , the queen Emma bridge and all the tourist shopping stores.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. I chose it because it was the lowest price for Willemstad. Room was in good condition but not enough towels. We only had one body towel per person and no hand towels for the bathroom sink or the kitchen sink. No other toiletries offered and room body wash was never replaced and only shampoo, no conditioner.

When i arrived the room was still like the previous guest left it. I was asked to wait 1 hour, i came back after 2 hours and it was still not ready, luckily after 3 hours i was able to enter my room. I asked for a late check out as compensation, it was okay when i asked, but on the check out day i was denied a late check out. The hotel is nice, but my experience there wasnt. I hope that the problems can be fixed so i might come back someday.

This hotel is the most disgusting hotel I have ever in my life booked. The room was so disgusting that I checked in and went into the room and within 15 minutes I was back out the room checking out of the hotel the room was very outdated The toilet seat had pee, stains all over it. The shower had mole. There was hair all over the floor. The refrigerator and The countertop was dirty. The floor was just disgusting dirt and hair all over. Let’s not talk about the front desk staff no customer service whatsoever. I checked out of the hotel within 15 minutes because I did not feel SAFE and I refuse to stay in FILTH the hotel refused to refund me my money back. They have no integrity and they do not care about their customer. Please take my advice. Take your business elsewhere. You will not enjoy your stay at this hotel it’s filthy and It’s giving cheap motel.!!

When booking in Expedia - a pre paid there should never be a $150 incidental holding fee. It’s ridiculous because there are no amenities involved. You are provided by a parking fob which doesn’t really work. You are charged. If a ticket comes out they want to charge you again. Ridiculous Bathrooms are small. Rooms are good size. Infilled holes in the walls. Front desk not overwhelming friendly. I give this a rating of 6 out of 10. Other

My husband and I really liked this hotel! Very conveniently located in the heart of Punda. Check in was easy. Staff were very friendly for the most part. We loved that we could easily access our car in the parking garage from our floor (level 2 parking accessible from floor 2, etc etc). The kitchenette was better than we expected, with a full-sized fridge. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean with a spacious closet. A small blip with the iron - it was burnt on the bottom, so it didn’t work too well. There is construction underway at a nearby building, and there was subsequent noise as early as 7:45 AM on Sunday. Then, room service came knocking at 9 AM. Both incidences occurred much earlier than we liked that day. Otherwise, everything was great and we enjoyed our stay very much. This is a great little hotel with prime location in the historic district.
